When you truly heal and move on with your life, some people can't accept the healed you. They prefer the wounded, needy, unsure you that was starved for validation and acceptance. The overflow is what you have in surplus, addition or extra. Never deplete yourself until you are empty. It takes so much to keep going when you have nothing left to give. It's exhausting and painful. So often we do this and suffer in silence about it. Love yourself enough to advocate for YOU.
