This year’s edition of KUNE Festival in collaboration with @rendermusicintl will host a panel talk joined by four researchers from the @oxford_uni. This series aims to examine the socio-cultural effects that are shaped and challenged through music, art, movement, and emotional expression.

We are eager to bring together perspectives from various specialties in the academic field to help develop novel perspectives on these areas so close to the heart of KUNE. From the study of groove and its cognitive impetus; the inspirational drive underlying creativity and emotive transmission through sound; movement practices as a means towards a scalable intervention for depression; or the realities of the professional field in behavioural and cultural research, these wide ranging perspectives aim to 𝒐𝒇𝒇𝒆𝒓 𝒖𝒏𝒊𝒒𝒖𝒆 𝒊𝒏𝒔𝒊𝒈𝒉𝒕𝒔 𝒊𝒏𝒕𝒐 𝒕𝒉𝒊𝒔-𝒕𝒉𝒊𝒏𝒈-𝒘𝒆-𝒄𝒂𝒍𝒍 𝒅𝒂𝒏𝒄𝒆 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝒂𝒍𝒍 𝒕𝒉𝒂𝒕 𝒔𝒖𝒓𝒓𝒐𝒖𝒏𝒅𝒔 𝒊𝒕.

for quite some time now, i’ve made it a mission to place art & emotion at the center of my life. i’ve had the honor of working with some of the most influential talent of our current landscape; learning from industry professionals who lead with the heart; connecting with the brilliant minds of arts-psychology research; and observing communities from all parts of the globe that live and breathe works of art.

the most significant finding, across all areas, is the relationship between 𝐚𝐫𝐭 & 𝐞𝐦𝐨𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 and its impact on growth.

what if music is promoted as more than just a sound source?
what if teams engaged in the whole rush of composite emotions and sensations, and not just the auditory reality of the event?
how can our work best be captured to resonate with identity and community?

with @rendermusicintl, i hope to serve labels on an international scale by translating sensory-emotional experiences to musical output. this entity acts as a representation of what i believe makes music and its communities thrive.
