Here is another mini-story to go with these 6 pics ! " 😊Finally I spotted a female I fancy. Lucky for me, she seems just as smitten and pulls me into the classic mating embrace.Must be my lucky day ! But without warning, she throws her hands up and reacts with fierce intensity.What did I do wrong to make her want to get away from me so quickly ? "But I wont give up, next time it will definitely work out and I'll find the froglady of my dreams. 🐸Hier ist noch eine kleine Geschichte zu diesen 6 Bildern !"Endlich habe ich eine Lady entdeckt, die mir gefällt. Zu meinem Glück scheint sie genauso angetan zu sein und zieht mich in die klassische Paarungsumarmung.Das muss mein Glückstag sein !Doch plötzlich wehrt sie sich heftig und schmeisst die Arme in die Höhe.Was habe ich nur falsch gemacht, dass sie so schnell von mir weg will ? What a catch !!!👉 swipe for more pictures 👉My mom caught a real delicacy for me.This pike is really huge and heavy on top.I wonder if I can even swallow it ? Mom is trying to place it perfectly in my beak, but it's so big and heavy. 😢Oops, where did this pike disapear now ? Thanks to my patient mom, who keeps bringing it up from the water, again and again, there might still be a chance for me to swallow it. But unfortunately it keeps slipping non stop away. My beak is not that big yet.Finally mom lost patience and just swallowed it herself. I hope, that she has now enough energy to hunt for a more suitable fish for me. 😊Was für ein Fang !!!👉 Für weitere Bilder nach rechts wischen 👉Meine Mama hatt für mich eine Delikatesse gefangen. Dieser Hecht ist aber sehr gross uns schwer.Ob ich den überhaupt schlucken kann ?Mama versucht ihn perfekt in meinem Schnabel zu platzieren, aber er ist einfach zu schwer. Uups wo ist er jetzt hin ?? Dank meiner geduldigen Mama die ihn immer wieder im Wasser nach oben holt, gibts für mich vielleicht doch noch eine Chance ihn zu verspeisen.Abere leider ist er mir jedes mal weggerutscht. American mink 👉 swipe for more pictures 👉 The American mink and many other fur-bearing animals shake themselves so rapidly (with hundreds of movements per minute) that their skin and loose tissue act like a whip. This maximizes centrifugal force.Through this shaking, mink and other mammals can remove up to 70% of the water from their dense fur in just a few seconds.Shaking is vital for semi-aquatic predators like the mink. Their dense fur only insulates when dry. Without shaking, too much body heat would be lost, and the animals would have to expend too much energy drying themselves.Der Amerikanische Nerz und viele andere pelztragende Tiere schütteln sich so rasant ( mit hunderten von Bewegungen pro Minute ), dass die Haut und das lose Gewebe wie eine Peitsche wirken. Dadurch wird die Fliehkraft maximiert.Durch dieses schütteln können Nerze und andere Säugetiere in nur wenigen Sekunden bis zu 70% des Wassers aus ihrem dichten Fell entfernen. Das Schütteln ist für halbwasere lebende Raubtiere wie den Mink überlebenswichtig. Das dichte Fell isoliert nur, wenn es trocken ist.
