😭😭 I've been sitting on a little secret and in God’s glory since January 21st. Today I shed tears for the wonderful and marvelous things HE'S done. There's a story behind this praise. My husband is one of the most thoughtful, caring men that I know. 😭😭😭He basically surprised me with a new home. It was prophesied 4 years ago that we had both entered our land of promise....whew... I'll share more one day but I just wanted to share some encouragement for anyone that's going through a tough season and you don't believe that it will end.....SEASON'S don't last always. Go through it. Persevere. Endure. In His timing, God makes ALL things beautiful.

Welcome to the New Adorned by Renee!

After 5 amazing years at my previous location—navigating through brokenness, breakthroughs, and even a pandemic—that season has officially expired. What a journey it’s been!

Moving on Easter weekend came with its own set of challenges (because yes—I’m a hairstylist and I do ministry), and last week stretched me to my capacity. #WHEW But growth doesn’t come without stretching, and I know this transition was necessary for what God is getting ready to do.

This new space in Frisco reminds me so much of my original salon in downtown Dallas—full of personal touches, intentional vision, and purpose. It’s already starting to feel like home, and though I’m still adding finishing touches, the vision is clear: a fresh anointed space for beauty, healing, and confidence.

My happy place. 🤎

I recently did a complete redesign of my office, and I wanted the space to feel like an extension of me. Classy, sophisticated, a little unexpected, and with just enough creativity to remind you that an artist lives here. 😊

But this room represents so much more to me than beautiful furniture and decor.

My office is my place of prayer and peace.

It’s where I can close the door, quiet the noise, pray, think, dream, create, write, plan, or sometimes do absolutely nothing at all.

It’s my escape without having to go anywhere.

Life requires us to wear so many hats and constantly pour into so many different people and responsibilities. I’ve learned how important it is to have a space where I don't have to perform, produce, solve, or be anything for anyone.

A place where I can simply...

be.

And that’s exactly what this room has become.

Every detail reflects a little piece of who I am, but more importantly, the atmosphere reflects how I want to feel when I walk through the door: peaceful, inspired, creative, and at home. I have a few more things to add/subtract but....

Calling all moms 💛 LINK IN BIO ⏫️⏫️⏫️

When I initially created M.O.M.S. — Moms on the Mend Support, it came from a desire to create a safe and supportive community for mothers who have children navigating mental health challenges. I know that journey can sometimes feel isolating, overwhelming, and difficult to explain to those who haven’t experienced it.

But tonight, I want to open the door a little wider.

I’m inviting ANY mom who desires encouragement, connection, and community to join us.

Motherhood comes with so many different seasons. We can be deeply grateful for our children while still admitting that some parts of the journey are hard. Sometimes we simply need a place where moms can gather, talk, listen, laugh, encourage one another, and know we’re not navigating motherhood by ourselves.

🤔 Where do you run when life feels uncertain?

During last Saturday’s Christ Over Coffee, we talked about the beautiful reminder found in Psalm 46: God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.

A refuge is a place you run to for safety. A hiding place. A place where you can exhale when everything around you feels uncertain.

Isaiah 41:10 Reminds us that we don’t have to fear nor be dismayed because God is ALWAYS with us.

God never promised that we wouldn’t experience difficult seasons, unexpected news, sickness, loss, or moments when we simply don’t know what comes next. But He did promise us His presence.

When the world feels unsteady, He remains steady.
When we don’t have the answers, He remains faithful.
When fear tries to overwhelm us, we can run to Him.

He is our refuge.
He is our hiding place.
And He is always there.

Everything around us can shake without everything within us shaking when we know where our refuge is. 🤎

I will NEVER become common or familiar with God's wondrous works. I am in AWE of Him.

Christ Over Coffee ☕️ #LinkinBio ⏫️⏫️⏫️

We’re stepping into a new season of Christ Over Coffee, and I believe this conversation is right on time.

Our world feels uncertain. Families are navigating sickness, loss, financial pressures, and situations we never expected. Our faith is being challenged, and if we’re not careful, the noise around us can become louder than the voice of God within us.

Our first conversation is:

WHEN THE WORLD FEELS UNSTEADY
Trusting God when everything around us feels uncertain.

Psalm 46 reminds us that God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.

We may not be able to control what is happening around us, but we can decide where we will dwell while we're walking through it.

This season, we’re learning how to stay anchored. How to remain in His presence. How to be informed without becoming consumed. How to pray before we panic. And how to trust that when everything around us is shaking, our God remains unshaken.
