Photography was only supposed to be a vehicle for us, it was never meant to be where we landed the plane. So for 14 years, we diligently built, brick by brick. Sharing details about what we would eventually do, hoping for the day God would say go! I knew it was time to make the jump when I felt completely discontent with mainly pursuing weddings. I wanted to walk alongside women, too. Share things that God has taught me. Showing women how to be rooted in Him. My heart is to create a space where you’d want to get cozy and sit criss cross applesauce because you felt safe, inspired and at home. While timing was a factor, The other thing that held me back was the worry of if the brand would be received but I listened to the noise for far too long. So guess what we’re doin’ bestie? We finally building our Haus where you can come for education and inspiration for everything beautiful. A creative lifestyle brand where faith, fashion and photography abide! “I hope all the girlies in the world get to be loved the way I’m loved by you.” These words met a part of me that needed a little more freedom. It gave me reassurance that while I personally can’t love every girl in the world up close, I could show up in a way that makes each girl feel loved. For the last 14 years that’s been our goal, to build a Haus on love and create work that brings heaven to earth in everything beautiful. It’s been our dream but not yet our time. There was just something about being still enough to stop the bleeding in my own life so I truly give from a place of healing and experience what it truly means to be loved through God’s kindness, discipline and Fatherly Love. For a long, long time, I fought for freedom and healing and found my way to the light. Step by step, day by day, I gave Jesus the opportunity to meet me and He gave me the grace to keep choosing Him. In a world that tells you what you need to look like and who you need to be, I don’t always feel like I have much to offer but I can give you: Angel Haus: Education and Inspiration for everything beautiful. A creative lifestyle brand giving faith, fashion and photography a place to abide. She’ll be officially launching soon but until then you’ll see some new patterns and rhythms that make this space feel like the home you’ll want to find your own little corner in. This may be for you if you ever feel like you needed to perform for love 🤍 For most of my life I felt like I needed to perform for love. Perform to be accepted. Be perfect for business. Be perfect to be chosen. Have it all together for the dreams God’s placed in my heart. But God is so kind. In this season of life God has outsmarted me hahaha! He has flipped my idea of acceptance and showed me two things can be true. I can be in process and still be loved. I ran from what He wanted to do for a long time. But He finally caught me! In a broken, imperfect world we would be waiting our entire lives if perfection equaled love. And I’m so glad it doesn’t. This isn’t a personal diary but an invitation God asked me to extend to remind anyone performing that they are loved no matter the season of life they are in. He made You because He loved you. If nothing in your life changes, It is still true. Every crevice of who you are is held together by it. A love that sacrifices. A love that orchestrates divine timing. A love that never takes His eyes off of you. A love that chases. A love that gives. A love that sees. A love that whispers that one’s mine, I choose them and I gave everything I have to let them know they are known and still embraced. I hope today you can sit with this truth and let it linger.
