fast approaching 6 months of learning how to dj omg! i loved curating the tracklist for this mix and being playful in an attempt to capture the sounds of wren. this mix is definitely quicker than my first one overall and i had so much fun playing it out as can be seen by my constant bop lol.

dj’ing has allowed me to find the beauty in mistakes and realise that a perfect product is honestly this mythical thing i will always be chasing as i continuously move the goalposts. there’s only so much you can control!

a couple of my favourite moments from the mix and some bonus blends too plus a special shoutout to a sick bella for keeping me company 🫶🏽

Introducing @reneeo_o … we are very excited for her to shell it on Friday for our debut event @oculist.brighton!

wren’s music is heavily influenced by the sounds of her Nigerian and Cockney heritage with fast and energetic percussion being a staple of her sets. Inspired by the pure excitement, joy and freshness of Sully, Time reaper and SHERELLE, wren’s sets are guaranteed to be high energy and we can’t wait.

Come down to have a boogie @oculist.brighton on 17th July 9-2.30am ‼️ by @reneeo_o
