It’s official! I’m in my fourth year of naturopathic medical school and seeing patients in the clinic!

As a naturopathic intern, my goal is to provide evidence-based, holistic care to help you feel your best! I believe in taking the time to understand the full picture of your health and the WHY behind your symptoms.

I use a combination of natural therapies, including nutrition, botanical medicine, acupuncture, and lifestyle changes, to help you feel educated, validated, and confident in your health journey.

My special interests include:
🌿Women’s health: menopause, PMS/PMDD, HA, PCOS, and more
🌿Digestive health: IBS, IBD, reflux, dysbiosis, and more
🌿Pediatrics: digestion, healthy development, sleep, behaviour, skin, and more
🌿Stress/burnout: because let’s be honest, it affects everything

All of my care is supervised by 3 incredible naturopathic doctors at the Schad Naturopathic Clinic in Toronto.

I believe great healthcare is individualized, collaborative, and realistic. My goal is to help build treatment plans that feel both sustainable and attainable in everyday life.

So excited to announce that I’ll be back in Windsor this October to host this Immune Foundations Workshop at Lifetime Wellness Center. 🍊🩺🦠

We will be covering all things immune health and you’ll be leaving with a better understanding of how to support your health through the (unfortunately) upcoming cold and flu season!

This is not simply going to be a lecture on taking more Vitamin C! We will dive into the whole physical, mental and emotional aspects that impact immune health from a combined modern and traditional medicine lens. We’ll also be sorting through common online immunity trends and deciding which ones can stay, and which ones should be left behind!

Date: Wednesday, October 28, 2026
Time: 7:00pm
Location: Lifetime Wellness Center, Windsor, ON

This event is FREE, but spots are limited! 🎟️ Sign up using the link in my bio or message me for more details!!

Looking forward to connecting with all of you🤗 taken in Lifetime Wellness Center - Dr. Nicholas Ouellette by @reneesndpath

After working with patients for the past few months, I’ve seen this pattern time and time again.

You’re looking for answers from anything and everything, and what’s worst is it’s delaying your results.

@healthyplanet this weekend!! 🧠 💊 🍂 🛒

Brain fog may be common, but that doesn’t mean it’s NORMAL! There are many conditions, nutrient deficiencies, etc. that can cause or worsen symptoms of brain fog.

Beyond that, there are many daily habits you can incorporate to support better cognitive health day-to-day and as you age!

I had a great time collaborating on this article and it was so fun seeing it in one of my favourite spots (health food store obsessed over here:)

I can’t BELIEVE this is my last September as a student!!! 🥹🥹

I am officially 1/3 through my last year of naturopathic medicine and even though I say this every year….I TRULY can’t believe how fast things are going! Seeing patients over the summer has been such a rewarding experience and I am so excited for what’s to come!

That being said, I always feel a little emotional in September and there can be some BIG feelings around starting a new school year. Growing up, this tradition was always a nice pick-me-up if I was feeling worried or scared or stressed.

And although things are definitelyyyyy looking a little bit different now (in fact, these are chickpea-based cookies)… the message is the same! You’re a SMART COOKIE… don’t you forget it!

I’m also happy to still be offering support and seeing patients in-person in Toronto and virtually in Ontario. If you are looking for support with your health, stress, immunity, etc. heading into this season… the link to book is in my bio!

Happy back to school (for the last time;) 🫶🏼

cozy Saturday night in after seeing patients:)

Still feeling so grateful to be able to see patients under the supervision of naturopathic doctors in my final year of training! I seriously cannot believe I am 4 months into my internship (gulp), but it is so rewarding seeing some big patient wins! 🥰🤗

This week has been incredibly busy with school and work, so winding down with games, cookies and some time on the couch was all I could’ve asked for🫶🏼

How do you wind down after a busy week?

So many things to be grateful for!!!! Patient wins, summer plans to look forward to and most importantly… @bar_ape has their passionfruit guava soft serve back 😉

Multiple meta-analyses and systematic reviews have demonstrated that gratitude practices increase life satisfaction, mental health and reduce anxiety and depression symptoms. (PMID:37585888) While this is not necessarily a first-line treatment, gratitude interventions can be very beneficial in combination with other supports! 🧠

What are you grateful for? 🍦

WHAT IS having a practitioner to sort through all this with?!

Naturopathic medicine is just as much about herbs and acupuncture, as it is sorting through the noise of online health advice, reading deeply into your bloodwork and talking the hard truths about your habits.

What do I mean? Nothing in my care is focused on one quick-fix, supplement or treatment. I believe that the best care comes from feeling heard, and approaching health from all angles.

Coming in for support with energy? Weight loss? Skin? We’re still going to talk about what you’re eating, how you’re moving your body, how you’re sleeping and even what your 💩 looks like!

I ENCOURAGE you to come to me with your questions, fears and most importantly…. the wild things you see online.

When you feel heard, have your questions answered and get a comprehensive assessment, your health is supported from the ROOT. When you have someone you trust, doing the work for you… you don’t have to rely on the “link in bio fixes” or literal health scams that are out there.

My point? Your health shouldn’t be confusing. Your practitioner is there to sort through the noise, look at the whole picture, get you eating vegetables and remind you that the last thing you should be scared of … is bananas.

I will forever be telling you to eat your fruits and vegetables, in whatever way I can.

I’m currently seeing patients in my naturopathic clinical internship, and one thing that I still won’t stop talking about is the importance of plant diversity in your diet.

“Eat the rainbow” advice does not come close to encompassing years of nutrition education, BUT that doesn’t mean I don’t think it’s valid.

If I’ve learned anything over the past few months, it’s that patients need frameworks that are simple, yet effective. So I challenge you to count your fruits and vegetables (the goal is 5+ servings per day) and your COLOURS!

These are only a few benefits of incorporating more plants into your diet. Think about what might change with a few small changes over time:)

consider this my re-introduction ♌️

In all seriousness, I can never decide whether I want this page to be more serious, more clinical or more educational.

So here’s the opposite🙃

Let me know what you want to see! Oh and happy Leo season…
