I accidentally only took 3 photos...too busy partaking in the experience. You gotta do a sunrise though...really! Trust me.

Coast Tasmania has arrived and it's a goody. This is not a magazine full of page fillers and advertisements.
it's a diverse and interesting collection of places, people, produce, wine and everything in between. Articles on genuinely interesting and inspiring people who may have flown under the radar(until now). It's not just a rag for locals it's a celebration and a flex of all the cool things that make Tassie incredible including @tunnel.tasmania and many other great features. A recent jaunt to @atlasvine though it could aptly be named Atlas and Viiiiibes. This is Hobart's latest, genuine contender in the city's dining scene.
This little part of Liverpool Street is quickly turning into a bit of a foodie utopia.
I'll just dive right in and say everything on the menu is exquisite. I know because I ate several things off it, everything is so considered, I know that's an easy appraisal but it's true @nickkavenagh has put his soul in the food and the fit out. Everywhere you look is something created by another Tasmanian maker down to the furniture and the plates, everything has a story.

I absolutely love that that kind of mindset. When someone creates something and then involves other local creatives to help bring their vision to life. You can feel it. It's the very definition of creative community.

If you're looking for somewhere to have a cheeky wine and some delicious small and big things to eat, you need to go and check this place out. I love simple and seasonal ingredients done well and that's what you'll get.
Every mouthful is eyebrow raising in the best possible way, you know that feeling? When nobody's talking. That's what it is. Also it has something I've never once seen in a restaurant before. You'll either have to slide all the way to the end or go in, look up and see for yourself.

Here's some pics of people peacefully coming together, showing solidarity and standing up for what they believe in.
That every child, every person, has the same right to live. The same safety, the same humanity.
That's all it takes.

Of all the unique things you can do at an Airbnb skating would have have to be one of the rarer activities. Disclaimer* does not come with skates. Just one very enthusiastic cousin @buccalbysimone always looking for smooth surfaces. @coast_tasmania likes to do things a little different, a bit quirky and relatable.

Last few shots of the day when the wind finally died down as the sun was setting. I always look forward to these shoots with @bovankastel & @headlessnation a truly collaborative experience each and every time 💫💕

Arden Bath House has never claimed to be a wellness retreat. It is a retreat, though.
Green juice or champagne, the choice is yours. No judgment on whichever adventure you choose. Although it is suggest staying hydrated between sauna rounds.
The new deck is finished, with plenty of comfortable cushions for soaking up the sun and the view.
If you haven't booked in yet, you really need to. Four hours with good friends, up to six of you, all the amenities to yourselves.
Secluded in the bush, away from the noise and the hum of cars.

I hadn't picked up my camera in probably a year to photograph just for me. I've been working up to it. I had a few mental shots I wanted to take. So I decided to punish my self and go on a little neighbourhood adventure and shoot in full sun and a big bright blue tassie sky, without a whisper of a cloud, literally my photography nightmare.

It's good to test yourself and see what happens even if I did have grimace or squint, sometimes both washed across my face. People probably thought I looked like a hater just out photographing as a self loathing exercise.
I just want to add it's completely normal to go through phases where you don't even like photography, think your shit, lose confidence and have a existential crisis from time to time. I think that could be copy and pasted over any profession. I think it's healthy. It must be, because I haven't spoken to one photographer who hasn't ridden this wave more than a few times. Just because you worked so hard to have a job thats your passion doesnt mean you have to love it 24/7 like a pathological grinner. You just have to remember to go filleth the cup with the images that make your heart sing and make it about you.
