Our daughter, Rachel Leigh King Cook, introduced me and her mom, Debra Hastings King to Diamond Art earlier this year. Hopefully these pens will help us recoup some of what that introduction has cost! 😜

In all seriousness, these Diamond Art pens will be a new items for my booth tomorrow at the Greenway Art Festival. If you have been bitten by this new “bug” give yourself some relief from the cramping caused by the cheap plastic pens which come with kits. by @renew.turning

Forty-five years ago we said, “I do.” Living those promises out daily has shaped us into the people we are today. Our love for God and each other are the two greatest forces in our lives! I thank God for the many ways he blesses me through you, Debra Hastings King! by @renew.turning

After receiving some 16” diameter Maple logs, I acknowledged that my chainsaw was not up to the task. So today I purchased one with a longer bar and significantly more horsepower. It made this job of roughing out bowl blanks much better. The challenge now is the heat and how I am slowing down! Slow and steady wins the race! by @renew.turning

Happy Mother’s Day to Debra! Being an Omi puts a smile on her face. Thursday morning we watched Madelyn graduate from pre-school and then drove to Florida to be with the Tally crew. Obviously we need to re-create this pose so Collins will be included. by @renew.turning
