What a month! 🚵‍♀️🔥 From local races to big adventures, Reno Devo athletes, families, and coaches have been putting in the miles, making memories, and representing our community all over the West.

We’re incredibly grateful for our sponsors, volunteers, coaches, and families who make these opportunities possible. Most of all, we’re proud of our athletes for showing up with positive attitudes, sportsmanship, and a love for riding bikes.

The results are great, but the smiles, friendships, and adventures are what it’s all about!

60 juniors. SIXTY!!! 🤯🔥

And if this year proved anything, it’s that the future of this sport is in unbelievably good hands.

The energy these kids brought to Paydirt was unmatched.
The smiles. The stoke. The willingness to jump in and be part of something bigger than themselves.

Shoutout to our charitable partner, @nevadamtb and all the junior riders from Northern Nevada, North Tahoe, South Tahoe, and anywhere else who came out not only to race, but to help make this event happen.

The riders who didn’t pin on numbers stepped up to man aid stations, cheer riders on, hand out snacks, and become an essential part of the Paydirt experience.
That kind of community spirit matters.

Watching this next generation ride hard, work hard, and show up for each other was one of the best parts of the entire weekend. ❤️

P.S. Our youngest riders (outside of the Family MTB route) were 11 & 12 years old…we’re seriously mind-blown over here!

The future is here and blindingly bright!

Sea Otter Classic 2026 🦦🚴‍♂️ Such a fun weekend for Reno Devo—full of racing, adventure, and plenty of laughs along the way.

More than anything, it was about connection and camaraderie. Great to see this team come together, support each other, and make lasting memories.

Big thanks to our athletes, coaches, parents, volunteers, and sponsors for making it all happen.

We’re excited to announce the 2026 Reno Devo Club Team! This is a fantastic opportunity for young riders to improve their bike skills, explore local trails, make new friends, and—most importantly—have fun!

🚴 Reno Devo Club Team – Session 1

Start Date: Monday, April 27, 2026
End Date: Wednesday, May 20, 2026

Details: This session will focus on building strong foundational mountain biking skills through fun, structured group rides and activities designed to build confidence and foster a love for the sport.

Capacity: 25 Junior Athletes

Registration Deadline: Saturday, April 25 at 11:59 PM (PST)

🚴 Reno Devo Club Team – Session 2

Start Date: Monday, June 1, 2026
End Date: Wednesday, June 24, 2026

Details: This session will continue to focus on developing strong foundational mountain biking skills through fun, structured group rides and activities. Each session stands alone, so Session 1 is not a prerequisite for Session 2.

Capacity: 25 Junior Athletes

Registration Deadline: Saturday, May 30 at 11:59 PM (PST)

🗓 Practice Schedule

Days: Mondays & Wednesdays 5:30 PM - 7:00 PM

Location: Local trails and outdoor venues (details will be shared via TeamSnap)

Time: Practice times will be communicated through TeamSnap

🔑 Key Information

Ages: 6–10 years old

Experience Required: Must be able to ride without training wheels; prior single-track experience is preferred

Equipment Needed:
A bike with hand brakes in good working condition
A properly fitting, certified bicycle helmet
Gloves and eye protection

Coaching: All Coaches are USA Cycling SafeSport Certified (Required for all volunteers as well - no exceptions)

Curriculum Designed by: Reno Devo Performance Coaches

Cost: $250 per session by @renodevomtb
