It has been an honor to serve on the U.S. House Judiciary Committee for the past ten years, participating in some of the most consequential issues facing the nation over this time.

I’m so grateful for this privilege and will always remember the responsibilities entrusted to me by the people in Arizona’s Fifth Congressional District. by @repandybiggs

Too many innocent Americans have been killed by illegal aliens, who should have never been in this country in the first place.

All these deaths were preventable.

And those deaths were made possible by the state and federal officials who inexplicably and shamefully turned away from their sworn duties to protect their citizens. by @repandybiggs

Arizona, and in fact the entire Basin, is in a drought condition. We can’t conserve our way out of this crisis. We have to take very careful steps to rebuild and save the entire basin. We also want to secure Arizona’s long-term future.

That’s why I’ve introduced the Colorado River Basin Water Security and Infrastructure Act. It’s imperative that we pass this legislation out of Congress and send it to the President’s desk. Time is of the essence for the people who rely on the life-giving water of the Colorado River. by @repandybiggs

On this Constitution Day, I am profoundly grateful for those who went before, framed this extraordinary document, and for the liberty it has secured for generations of Americans. by @repandybiggs

“We are rolling the dice with our children.”

These were some of the most truthful, haunting words I have ever heard during my tenure in the U.S. House. Yesterday, the Judiciary Committee heard from Elizabeth Carter. Her son was tragically killed last fall by an illegal alien truck driver who had been issued a commercial driver’s license by California.

Throughout my time in Congress, I have fought to strengthen our laws and protect innocent Americans. Unfortunately, too many in this body are still willing to gamble with our children’s lives. by @repandybiggs

During my time in the U.S. House, I’ve been pleased to vote for two historic tax cut packages that provided substantial economic relief to everyday Arizonans.

Taxpayers work hard for their money and deserve to keep more of those dollars. by @repandybiggs

The passage of time inevitably dims memories. It does not diminish our responsibility.

We remember those we lost.

We honor those who demonstrated extraordinary courage.

And we resolve to preserve the freedoms and principles that enemies of America have repeatedly sought—and failed—to destroy.

May God comfort the families who still carry the pain of these losses, strengthen our nation in the face of hatred and violence, and continue to bless the United States of America.

We will never forget. by @repandybiggs

On September 10, 2025, the world lost one of its most gifted speakers and passionate advocates for freedom. We will never forget where we were on that fateful day when reports rolled in about the horrific assassination of Charlie Kirk. A part of our nation’s soul died along with him, knowing that a good and decent man, husband, father, and patriot was ripped from us in an unimaginable way.

Charlie knew the risks of his mission and understood the dangers. He openly told others that his life was on the line for daring to hold the line for freedom, defending the right to debate ideas, and fighting for traditional values.

As a young husband and father who had already accomplished so much, Charlie could have easily retreated into comfort and safety. Yet, he chose not to abdicate his calling. He walked out the door every day, trusting in a higher power to guide his path, knowing his efforts were making a critical difference for the next generation of Americans. He was bold, unafraid of the future, and compassionate toward humanity - up until the moment he died.

They say time heals all wounds, but for those who knew and loved Charlie, this wound will remain open for the rest of our lives. While many of us are still hurting, it is impossible to fathom what his family has endured over the last twelve months—first with his tragic murder, and then with the hostility that followed from so many sides. Our deepest prayers remain with Erika Kirk and her children as they navigate life without him. Throughout this past year, Erika has shown tremendous courage, forgiveness, and grace in the face of great evil and hate. Charlie would be so incredibly proud of her—and I know he still is.

Today, we remember Charlie Kirk and honor his life that was dedicated to the cause of freedom. I’m grateful for this man and the example he left for me and future generations of Americans. I pray we are found worthy in our efforts to pick up Charlie’s mantle and pass the torch of liberty to our children and grandchildren. by @repandybiggs

One year ago, Charlie Kirk was preparing to spend his last night on earth.

Hold your loved ones. Live every day like it’s your last. Have no regrets.

Charlie was a great American patriot, but he was an even better person. The world was a finer place with his presence. He is missed more than words can express. by @repandybiggs

Many of our laws are outdated, allowing criminals to further exploit their victims or withholding critical tools for law enforcement to defend the innocent.

I’m working in the U.S. House to enhance protections for victims and increase tools for law enforcement. We cannot fail those among us who are vulnerable and in need of safeguards. by @repandybiggs

The U.S. House did its job to protect victims of certain violent crimes in passing Kayleigh’s Law this week.

Now, the U.S. Senate must act before the clock runs out on us in January.

We cannot fail these victims. We must send Kayleigh’s Law to the President’s desk.
