These kids aren’t really kids anymore but for a moment, we went back.

We decided to gift them a favorite toy from their childhood, and they had a blast “letting it rip” with Beyblades like no time had passed at all.

It’s been such a gift to have the whole family back under the same roof, laughing, competing, and just being together. Hoping to squeeze in a few more fun memories before they head back out into the world and continue making us proud. by @repbenmcadams

Ran the St. George Gobbler 5K with Julie and the kids this morning! 🦃🏃‍♂️🏃‍♀️ Our only goal was to finish under 30 minutes so we could eat Thanksgiving dinner guilt-free… and we DID IT.

Kids crushed it. We survived.

Now bring on the turkey. 🥧😅

This Thanksgiving, I’m especially grateful for family—and for getting the chance to step outside and spend a day together in one of the most beautiful places on earth. There’s nothing quite like hiking the Narrows at Zion to remind you how small you are, how stunning the world can be, and how lucky we are to share it with the people we love.

These are the moments that matter: cold water, canyon walls towering overhead, laughter echoing between them, and kids who are growing up far too fast. Grateful for sturdy waders, good friends, and the kind of memories that last long after the holiday is over.

Wishing everyone a Thanksgiving full of family, gratitude, and time in the great outdoors. 🧡🍁🏞️ by @repbenmcadams

My new organization, Common Ground Institute, and a new position as a Senior Fellow for @sorensonimpact will allow me to continue to focus on building bridges and solving the problems facing our communities. I firmly believe that perspective and compromise are key to finding creative solutions.

In another win for the health and safety for Utahns, I successfully removed language that sets aside funding for explosive nuclear weapons testing.
.
An earlier draft of the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) included $10 million for nuclear weapons testing preparation. These tests from decades ago have had catastrophic health effects on Utahns.
.
Our success in this fight means Utahns won’t have to face the prospect of more dangerous and unnecessary explosive nuclear weapons testing in our backyard.

Many of our country’s veterans become disabled while protecting our freedoms. Ensuring they can access some of the best outdoor spaces our nation has to offer is a small token of our appreciation. I proudly helped to pass this bill in the House.
