Hosting the World Cup taught us a lot about the demands we should expect for LA28. Top of the list: transit that works when the whole world shows up.ㅤSo I got to work and secured an investment for shade at bus stops and real-time rider info. Small things that make a hot, crowded commute bearable.ㅤHere's the part I like most: none of it disappears when the Games end, and the cost doesn’t fall on local taxpayers. This is infrastructure Angelenos will use for decades. by @replaurafriedman

When I visited @eastersealssocal, an organization that provides disability services in my district as well as nationwide, they said it best: disability is not a dirty word.I strongly agree, which is why I’ve supported legislation to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Individual with Disabilities Education Act and continue to seek fair treatment for all Americans, regardless of ability. by @replaurafriedman

California is a world-wide destination for our spectacular wildlands. July is National Parks and Recreation Month, and I can’t imagine a better time to get out and explore all of CA's amazing resources.ㅤThat's why I wrote legislation like the Rim of the Valley Corridor Protection Act and Public Access Protection Act, two bills which will expand and protect access to the green spaces that we all love. by @replaurafriedman
