MEET OUR SPECIAL GUEST FROM CANADA 🇨🇦🏔️

Meet Celeste Elizabeth, joining Glacier Nation’s Global Challenge 2026 as a Special Guest representing Canada!

Known for its vast natural landscapes, majestic mountains, and impressive glaciers, Canada brings an important perspective to the global conversation about glacier conservation and the protection of our planet’s freshwater resources.

As we gather voices from around the world in Colombia, Celeste joins this international experience, where diverse perspectives come together around a shared commitment to protecting our natural environments.

Because no matter where we come from, we all depend on the same planet — and its future connects us all. 🌎💧

Join us for a ceremony of gratitude for St. Mary’s Glacier 🩵

We will join in the parking lot at 10 am before hiking up to hold ceremony with blessings, music, prayer, scientific information & more to honour the ice, the water it holds, and everything it makes possible.

Because the water held in glaciers is part of the same water cycle that sustains us all.

At St. Mary’s Glacier, we will gather to listen: to the land, to the water, and to the stories and knowledge carried across generations.

Glaciers remind us to pay attention while there is still time to understand, care, and respond.

Protecting glaciers is about protecting more than ice. It is about recognising our place within the living water cycle that connects us all. 💧🏔️
