✨The dreaming beauty and the bear prince 👑
.
Hello guys! 💖 how is your weekend so far? I was out for the first time in months yesterday because of a friends birthday and today is commission day 💪🏼 I’m working on the next „Blood & Ash“ series booksleeve for @witchcrownbox ☺️ they announced the first cover today on their account in case you’re interested! Unfortunately my wrist still hurts a lot ugh 😩 I can’t even lift my tea/ coffee cup with my right hand because it hurts immediately. That’s why I’m forced to take everything art related really slow these days 🥲 any good recommendations to heal a wrist inflammation quicker? I have a wristband that I wear day‘n‘night, use pain treatment/ anti inflammatory topicals and try to rest as much as possible. But I have this condition for over a month now and I’m a bit worried for what else I can do to heal it 😔 please feel free to drop a comment in case you know something! 🙌🏼
.
The artwork you see here is my participation for @galleryiyn (Osaka; Japan) exhibition „Dreaming Girl“. On their page you can read more about the background and ideas for this artwork. Thanks again for this opportunity! I loved to create this art and be part of the collective ✨🧡

.
Brace yourself *drum sounds* here he finally is - our infamous drunken prince of Elfhame🍷🧚🏼‍♂️ please guys, don’t let this flop! I’ve spend 20+ hours on him, I beg you 🙏🏼😭 I wanted to capture the magical fairy ball atmosphere and combine this with some Dionysus vibes (vine leaves, grapes in his crown 👑🍇). In the ancient Greek culture Dionysus is the god of the orchards and fruit, vegetation, fertility, festivity, insanity, ritual madness & religious ecstasy - & I thought this description fits our party prince super well! It’s hard to see in IG size but in the background I even implemented grape ornaments in the art nouveau‘ish ‚window‘. The thorn necklace and hand earring are on my to-shop list since forever, but I never came around to buying it, so why not add them to Cardan as it fits his aesthetic! Maybe I make drawing characters in my fashion/ cosplay ideas a thing now 😄 on top I really had fun adding the snake tattoo 🐍 it’s not part of the character originally as he is described in the books, but if Cardan would have a tattoo I bet it would be something like this - and a ‚Jude‘ tattoo for sure 😁👌🏼 our beloved ‚queen of nothing‘ will be the next artwork. I hope you enjoy our fav enemies to lovers couple in my style! I’ve re-listened to ‚The cruel prince‘ a few weeks ago and now they have me on chokehold again 😄

Hello lovelies 🙋🏻‍♀️ I hope you had a good week so far! 🧡 I had the lineart (swipe to see just the lines) for this artwork finished for almost 6-7 months now, but I just never knew how to color it…either it looked too rendered and conflicted with the medieval lineart look or it was too pale for my liking. And what do responsible artists do if they don’t know how to proceed with an artwork? Yes you’re right, just ignore it completely and act like you’ve never drawn it haha 😜 but in the end I liked the idea of an elf warrior in composition with swords and deer / stag too much to just let it rest forever. In my final attempt I rendered this with the textured Nikko Rull brush (procreate default) crying internally at how it finally looked somehow right 😂 I hope you like the final outcome! My fav part was drawing this huge flag and the ornaments on it 👌🏼😌⚜️ overall it’s giving my tarot card „10 of swords“-vibe 🗡️
.
& I’m interested: what was the longest time you did let an artwork rest to finally finish it? I guess for me it must be something like 8-9 months haha 😂 feel free to expose yourself below to become part of the „slow as heck“-artist’s club 😁💪🏼

Hello my wonderful artsy people! 🤍 How could it be more matching than on my usual lineart Sunday that I reveal what I have worked on the last several months. Countless lines later I am happy to finally reveal that I’ve been working on a coloring book — yey aaaaaand to make it even better, it’s romantasy themed! 🏰🗡️🐉

Y’all know I love romance, fantasy, the combination of both, and lineart is my favorite part of the art process anyways! So I was super hyped when @medialabbooks reached out to me for this project — it’s a dream come true, and I hopefully can fulfill some of you who have been asking me for a coloring book or coloring pages for years. So here it finally is! 📖

Pre-order starts now via a lot of different platforms, and the book will be available by the end of the year!

✏️ Sharpen your colored pencils, guys — it’s going to be amazing! More on the book soon (but let me spoil that much — it includes couples, dragons, dagger-to-throat moments, fairy balls, and much more).

🔗 Pre-order via the link in my bio ✨

Hello my wonderful artsy people 🫶🏻 I’ve created my very own artsy fairytale adventure — and I’m incredibly grateful for everyone who has already joined our Art Knight Guild! ⚜️

➡️ If you’re interested, you can find the link to the course in my bio 🔗

Here’s an overview of “From Tales to Fairies: A Beginner’s Guide to Digital Character Magic.”

🌟 First, we begin by introducing your guide — me. You wouldn’t go on an adventure with just anyone, so we’ll take a moment to get to know each other first.

🛡️ Next, we gather your tools and equip you with the essential knowledge (in this case, Procreate basics), because “a good knight needs good armor.”
These fundamentals — like layer modes and more — are also fully applicable to any other drawing software.

🔥 Then, we go “from spark to flame” and explore how a simple idea can grow into a fire of inspiration. You’ll learn how to work with references and storytelling elements.

🌙 After that, we “manifest our dream” of the fair maiden by learning portrait basics. Each facial feature has its own dedicated lesson — from eyes to noses to lips and so much more.

🖋️ Next, we sharpen our Apple Pencil so it becomes as precise as your finest blade. You’ll learn all the fundamentals of line art and watch me walk you through my entire linework process.

🎨 Then, in the module “Lips as Red as Blood,” we dive into color principles, color harmony, and my personal coloring techniques.

✨ And finally, in “Happily Ever After,” we take care of all the final touches and add that extra sparkle!

👩🏻‍🎨 Throughout the entire journey, I’ll be by your side in an exclusive Discord community, offering personal support and answering your questions.

🧜🏼‍♀️ You can try everything completely risk-free thanks to a 14‑day money-back guarantee. And once you join the course, it’s yours forever — with lifetime access.

📝 As a bonus, you’ll also receive all the brushes I use in the course in a dedicated set, plus my frames, background assets, and paper textures.

⚔️ You’ll be perfectly equipped for your adventure! 🧡

Hello my wonderful artsy people ✨🤍 I hope y‘all had a wonderful Christmas and a good start into the new year! 🎊

I am starting with Suren as the first post of the year. I‘ve read „The Stolen Heir“ on my vacation (months ago before the crunch time for my art course began) & I finally managed to draw her in one of my vintage-inspired symbolism artworks. I just loved her character as a whole - the robustness & will. In German we say „Biss haben“ (which basically means „to have a punch“ or „to have bite“) when describing someone with vigor, or a sharp edge, as opposed to being bland or weak, conveying some kind of firmness. & I think that matches her and her teeth perfectly 🦷

🗡️ In case you have ever wondered about the thought process behind my artworks: I cover the way from idea, reference search to storytelling considerations and composition in one whole module of my art course. In case you are interested you can sign-up to the waitlist and claim your discount via the link in my bio 🔗 the course will drop very soon (like next week 🤫) & after the launch the waitlist discount option will be gone 😱

✨ Hello my wonderful artsy people 🤍
If you’re anything like me, you’ve probably dreamed at some point of creating your very own 𝐟𝐚𝐢𝐫𝐲𝐭𝐚𝐥𝐞 𝐜𝐡𝐚𝐫𝐚𝐜𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐬.

🔮 Over the past few months, I’ve been brewing something special to help you do exactly that. You may have already heard the whispers, but… I’ve created my 𝐦𝐲 𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐲 𝐟𝐢𝐫𝐬𝐭 𝐚𝐫𝐭 𝐜𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐬𝐞! I’ve spent countless hours (and nights, let’s be honest) compiling, filming, and editing everything I wish I had known when I started drawing again. My goal is to spare you part of the struggle and create something magical together.

🗡️ Since my passion lies in fantasy art, this course focuses on 🧝🏼‍♀️ 𝕱𝖆𝖓𝖙𝖆𝖘𝖞 𝕻𝖔𝖗𝖙𝖗𝖆𝖎𝖙𝖘 and is called: „𝐅𝐫𝐨𝐦 𝐓𝐚𝐥𝐞𝐬 𝐭𝐨 𝐅𝐚𝐢𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐬: 𝐀 𝐁𝐞𝐠𝐢𝐧𝐧𝐞𝐫‘𝐬 𝐆𝐮𝐢𝐝𝐞 𝐭𝐨 𝐃𝐢𝐠𝐢𝐭𝐚𝐥 𝐂𝐡𝐚𝐫𝐚𝐜𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐌𝐚𝐠𝐢𝐜“ 🧚🏼‍♂️

⚜️ You’ll see my 𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐫𝐞 𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐜𝐞𝐬𝐬 — from the very first idea and sketching lines all the way to the final finishing touches. And I must highlight: you’ll even get to watch me do 🖋️ lineart for over an hour straight. Isn’t that great news?

⚜️ On top of that, I’ll walk you through all the 𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐨𝐫𝐞𝐭𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐥 𝐟𝐮𝐧𝐝𝐚𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐚𝐥𝐬: choosing and using references, composition, line quality, color principles, and all portrait basics — including dedicated lessons for each facial feature (eyes, lips, etc.) and even hair.

Throughout the entire course, I’ll be right by your side as we go step by step from the initial idea to the final illustration.

⚔️ If this sounds like an art adventure you’d love to join, feel free to 𝐬𝐢𝐠𝐧 𝐮𝐩 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐰𝐚𝐢𝐭𝐥𝐢𝐬𝐭 to secure your exclusive discount. The link is in my bio — or simply comment “waiting” under this reel.

I’d love to see you there! 🤍

🌒 𝕭𝖑𝖔𝖔𝖉𝖒𝖔𝖔𝖓 𝕷𝖎𝖑𝖎𝖙𝖍 | The Dark Goddess of Female Liberation 🖤

Hello my wonderful artsy people ✨ Like y‘all may know by now I am really passionate about giving hidden and or lost female archetypes a visual representation 🖼️ This time it‘s ‚Lilith‘ 🖤 I thought she is really fitting for the beginning of the darker seasons as she also represents the shedding of masks, outdated believe systems and freeing from felt oppressions. Also I really like how Sabrina from Rewilding @rewildingforwomen is describing the association with the „Dark“ in the „Dark Goddesses“ - it’s not ‚dark‘ as in ‚bad‘; it’s ‚dark‘ as in ‚hidden‘ or ‚in the shadows‘. Our modern society tends to associate the dark with the ‚evil forces‘ in the world, while it originally didn’t had this ‚negative‘ connotation. We all are born from the dark of a womb, we are resting and sleeping best in the dark - it is the land of the dreams and the unconscious, the place of infinite potential.

Next you’ll find some explanations about Lilith ⬇️

🩸 Primordial Feminine Figure: In Jewish folklore, Lilith is often described as Adam’s first wife, created from the same earth as him. She left Eden after refusing to be subservient to him.

🩸 Symbol of Independence: Lilith represents female autonomy, rebellion against patriarchal norms, and the refusal to be dominated. This has made her a powerful symbol in feminist spirituality.

🩸 Dark Goddess Archetype: In various traditions, she is portrayed as a dark goddess or demoness associated with night, seduction, and transformation. Her image often includes wings, long hair, and sometimes bird-like features.

🎨 𝐅𝐢𝐯𝐞 𝐀𝐫𝐭 𝐌𝐲𝐭𝐡𝐬 𝐈 𝐧𝐨 𝐥𝐨𝐧𝐠𝐞𝐫 𝐛𝐞𝐥𝐢𝐞𝐯𝐞 | Comment „LEARN“ to get the link to my art course straight to your DMs 💌

Even though I like myths in storytelling - I don’t quite like them in art advice 😄 So here is my take on some advices or opinions that crossed my way during my years creating art 💪🏼

🎨 1. “You’re not allowed to change your art style.”

We’re often told to niche down - to find one thing, repeat it, and become predictable and recognizable as an artist. And while I agree with the business side of that advice- it can be helpful for client work to have a consistent style - I don’t believe it applies to art as a whole.

To me, art is fundamentally about experimentation. If we niche down too early, we risk getting stuck. I’ve changed my art style several times over the years, and I wouldn’t be creating the work I do today if I hadn’t allowed myself to explore. And guess what? I’ve built an audience anyway (in case that’s what you’re worried about).

Don’t rob yourself of authentic growth just because you’re afraid of being “too different” from what you’ve done before. Be free, be wild - your voice will always shine through.

📊 2. “You need to make ‘real and serious’ art to be successful.”

A professor once looked at my work and said with pity, “Oh, it’s this kind of art you’re making,” followed by a sarcastic, “Well, I wish you all the best with your silly little comic characters.” It was a shocking moment - how could someone be so rude? But it wasn’t the first time I’d encountered that mindset.
We’re often told to make art that’s different from what we love. If it’s grey, it should be more colorful. If it’s colorful, it’s too childish. If it’s inspired by comics, manga, or anime, it’s frowned upon. But what is “real” art anyway?

I believe all art is valid. It’s your creation. It’s how you see the world. And however you choose to express that vision is perfectly fine.

By the way, do I need to mention that my “silly little characters” have been featured in Cosmopolitan, ImagineFX, on book covers, and other merchandise? Don’t let anyone discourage you - there’s room for every kind of art.
