From Friday morning to Sunday arvo, Gabby was down in Kawerau completing a Swift Water & Flood Rescue course to become a Swift Water Rescue Technician (SRT).

SLSNZ provides specialised flood response training for SAR Squad members, supported by NZSAR, with courses run by LandSAR and delivered by @rescue3nz

The SRT course covers everything from hydrology to self-rescue, swiftwater swimming, rope systems and in-water rescues.
