MEET THE PRAYER TEAM | PRAYER & PILATES Tonight, we gather for more than movement. We gather for an encounter with God. At the heart of The Reset Klub’s Prayer & Pilates is a powerful truth: when women come together in faith, surrender their hearts in prayer, and make room for God’s presence, something shifts. Prayer is not simply something we do; it is how we draw near to our Father, align our hearts with His will, and invite Him into every area of our lives. “For where two or three gather in my name, there am I with them.” Matthew 18:20 Tonight, we are honoured to introduce our prayer team, women who will lead us in intentional prayer over the areas that shape our lives: @desrayvanrensburg @jackiieejacks @bellamatzz WHY PRAYER? Because prayer changes our posture before it changes our circumstances. It draws us closer to God, renews our minds, strengthens our faith and reminds us that we do not have to carry life alone. “The prayer of a righteous person is powerful and effective.” James 5:16 Tonight, Pilates is the movement. Prayer is the heart. God’s presence is the purpose. We come to strengthen our bodies, quiet the noise, connect in sisterhood and create space to hear from the One who knows us, loves us and calls us by name. This is not just Pilates. LET’S TALK : We’re so excited to welcome @drchanell to Prayer & Pilates. Dr. Chanell Marthinussen is a medical doctor at Innohealth Medical Centres @innohealthclinics based in Cape Town and Chief Product Officer at Innohealth Technologies. She is the head of virtual care and led a team of developers in developing the MyPocketHealth web-based platform. A proud first-generation graduate from Stellenbosch University (Class of 2018), she hails from Bonteheuwel on the Cape Flats and is the first doctor in her family. Her passion for women’s health was sparked in high school, where she witnessed the high rate of teenage pregnancies, and deepened during medical school through her studies of the female reproductive system. Today, she uses her platform as a doctor to challenge the stigma surrounding menstruation and reproductive health. Dr. Marthinussen is the founder of The F-Word a bold movement dedicated to empowering women through education, access to sustainable hygiene products, and open conversations about menstrual and reproductive health. The F-Word stands for Female, Freedom, and Flow, and its mission is to promote freedom in life, work, and health starting with the menstrual cup as its flagship product. Her work focuses on empowering women to take ownership of their bodies and health, while encouraging men to become allies in breaking taboos. She believes that through education, we can reduce teenage pregnancy and unlock the potential of women in underserved communities. Freedom. Period.
