2025 was nothing short from incredible!! God opened doors I didn’t even think were possible. Through it all, I remained faithful in the pursuit of my purpose and transforming lives, as mine transformed in the process. I had no idea what was in store. As I reflect on every experience, every opportunity, every seed planted- all I see is flowers 💐

The growth never stops. Despite the rain, the storms, and the uncertainty- there will always be lives changed when you meet it with light. We all begin to flourish. You never know what one small thing can change. It’s the rippling effects for me 🌱

Heyy yall! My name is Marlanea Heaven🤍
For those of you just tapping into my page, welcome to Reset With Heaven where the reset is realll!

I keep it honest over here. My journey was built on resilience, faith, transitional depression, suicidal thoughts, postpartum, chronic stress, and a perfectionist mindset that had me in survival mode nonstop sending my nervous system spiraling.

Yall, I can’t say it enough- our bodies tell a story 📖

And when we ignore the signals, it shows up as inflammation, tension, & pain.. and I lived in that for years.

By the end of my freshman year of college in 2015, I had lost more people than I could count. It felt like death surrounded me. I joined the Army that same year searching for discipline, a new environment, a reset 🔄
 7 years of military service grew me.. and also added layers I had to unlearn.

Then in 2023 I became a momma, and mentally, I hit a low I couldn’t ignore. I was tired of living in cyclical loops.

That’s when everything shifted.
God led me to neuroscience-based Social-Emotional Learning and what started as my healing became my assignment ✍🏽🙏🏽 
Now I travel across the U.S. speaking 🌎🎙️Teaching nervous system reset techniques and helping people understand their emotions, body, and mind in ways that actually make sense 🧠

This space is for the real, the raw, and the unregulated- because we’re finna get regulated together!

I still don’t have it all together but each day, I get up & show up! If you’re ready to reset with Heaven, you’re in the right place ✨

This year I relied solely on Faith over Fear 🙏🏽

I went from heavy self-doubt to unimaginable confidence. I wouldn’t be where I’m at right now if it wasn’t for effort, grace, perseverance, and my supports 💙

• Started my business: Community Evolve & Thrive ✨ where I create & facilitate workshops on the mind-body connection, cultural competency, leadership skills, effective communication, and team coordination!

• Earned my certification to be a Social-Emotional Learning (SEL) Facilitator & Yoga Teacher through @Breathe4Change🧘🏽‍♀️

• Became a SEL Counselor and created a curriculum of my workshops for the alternative high school that I work at full-time! 👩🏽‍🏫

• Became a part of an amazing youth-centered program called @CoolSpeak 🎙️

• Impacted over 400 students 🥰

• Attended & facilitated one of my workshops at my first National Conference! 🥹

• Currently pursing my master’s degree in Education, focusing on Transformative Teaching & Leadership 📚

A substantial amount can happen in a year. I’m just a vessel doing God’s work! I had no idea this time last year that all of this would happen, but it did. Don’t ever limit yourself. Get out of your comfort zone & into your stretch zone, it’s worth it!

To be able to speak and pour into my hometown community is a blessing and honor. Coatesville really helped shape me forreal. It taught me loyalty, resilience, grit, and respect- especially in my high school years. I learned early what it meant to bleed red & black, to have Coatesville Pride despite the bad rep we got. We showed up for one another, we lived for hope even surrounded by poverty. We experienced so much grief and loss over the years but our love always remained so strong. And no amount of years not seeing each other could break that bond.

To the parents who are raising young men and young women in our city, working hard, challenged daily- I see you. I know it’s probably even harder now.. but I can’t wait to hear from you, learn from you, and grow with you on Monday.

Everywhere I have the honor of speaking, I walk in with one mission: to create a ripple effect that reaches far beyond the room.

We carry so much weight as individuals.
Our experiences. Our thoughts. Our beliefs. The actions we choose to take, and the ones we miss.

I can go biological or biblical, but either way, the truth remains: 🧠 Our brains generate thousands of thoughts each day, and the thoughts we repeatedly focus on shape the patterns, behaviors, and choices that influence our lives.

📖 Scripture tells us to “take captive every thought.” 2 Corinthians 10:5

I do this work because I know what it feels like to be captivated by my own experiences, thoughts, and beliefs, beliefs that felt paralyzing and kept me from living fully.

But I also know what happens when we choose to take action. When we challenge what we’ve always believed. When we learn to respond instead of react. When we recognize that our story doesn’t have to dictate our future. When we decide that growth is possible.

Now I have the privilege of walking alongside others in that process- encouraging, challenging, and guiding them toward a more fulfilling life.

And I genuinely LOVE what I do 🥹

I am incredibly blessed to be a vessel for a message that I believe can change generations- one person, one team, one classroom, one community at a time 🤍

A year celebrating God’s divine loveee!

One of our friend’s just asked us recently what is one of our strengths: We said communication. A lot of people assume that it’s simple, but being able to have those hard conversations, speak up when you feel convicted, and not majoring in the minor things takes real authentic work. We’ve grown to a space of knowing each other, managing our responsibilities of our home, our careers, growing individually and collectively together. We see each other for who we are at our core.

We take time to learn one another because we are constantly evolving. And in the process we also have been realizing where we need to grow: Our love languages. I shared with English, and our friends- sometimes it’s not “this OR that” - it would be “this AND that.” Ex: Acts of Service & Quality Time have been mine for awhile now but it’s understanding what your person needs in that moment AND communicating it to them when needed. They don’t just always know lol.

Lasting love needs to be built on a strong foundation.
Our world needs it.

So grateful for our village that continually prays for us, over us, and with us.

As someone who gets to have these unique, beautiful experiences with students often- I can genuinely say, it doesn’t get old. The connections. The emotions. The relationship building. The ability to show up authentically and allow others to do the same. I’ve said it before, but this is really HEART WORK 🫶🏽 I’m truly honored to have been a part of this 6 day @gocooltrips experience alllll across California where I got to lead 35 students from LA to San Francisco, and everywhere in between. These students came from over 9 different regions in Utah & 12 different high schools all thanks to @gearuputah !! For some of these students, it was their first time seeing Ivy League Universities, going to the beach, traveling out of state, venturing out of their small hometowns.

#GEARUPWORKS this program is life changing for students. They’re able to visualize themselves in spaces they never thought they could, stepping foot into what could be their reality by the exposure opportunities they are given!

What a blessing it is to be a part of their life changing journey ✨

A little throwback to one of my favorite conferences! 🙌🏽

Year 2 back in Hampton, Virginia & y’all truly never disappoint with the energy you guys bring so we bring it right back!!

This one was all about the SENIORS! 🎓 & the motto is simple: ✨ Celebrate • Motivate • Graduate ✨

But getting there takes weaving in & out of a multitude of obstacles sometimes, however yall showed up & showed out. The experiences some of yall been through mirror the same ones I’ve encountered and it truly is an honor pouring into the next generation, celebrating all you’ve accomplished, and reminding you that your future is full of possibility.
