The sun is forever.

Super random but a rough lighting study I did of a scene from Saros. What an incredible visual style that game has. Coincidentally there was an eclipse yesterday.

Loved playing with lighting in my last couple of illustrations so decided to keep that going with portraits too. A bit of a different style, used almost exclusively 2 brushes. What do you think?

Some flowers! Was really able to push the hues and lighting with this one

Another portrait! My first try at rendering braids -- took a lot of time but also a lot of fun seeing them pop.

Grapes! Which background do you think suits them better?

Just me or is that rock a little weird?
Based loosely on the red sand buttes of Monument Valley, with my own spin on it.

All told Clark did have a good barber in the backrooms.

What did you all think of the movie? I anticipated it heavily but the odd pacing and character work made it a mixed bag for me.

Landscape sketch based on the Dolomites of Italy. Environments are still a challenge for me but I learn something new every time I try them.

Nikki from Obsession, before things went south. What did you all think of the film?

Watched this movie after a few recommendations, insanely good psychological thriller. Funnily enough I used to watch the director’s YouTube sketch channel in the past.

I’m aware the graphic pop-art style doesn’t necessarily fit the vibe of the movie but wanted to give it a go anyway.

Color study! Poison dart frogs are a cool subject to paint, and I had some fun with the texture
