Join us Tuesday 7/21 at 5pm to tell Costa Mesa City Council to vote YES on canceling their Flock contract!

Personalize your message and describe your relationship to Costa Mesa: you are part of this community if you drive here, shop here, volunteer here, go to school here, go to church here, have friends here, etc. Costa Mesa is home to the OC Fairgrounds, the Performing Arts Center, Ikea, South Coast Plaza, Orange Coast College, Vanguard University, Triangle Square, and more than 100K residents. This shared mass surveillance network impacts all of Orange County. Come early for the rally and stay for the meeting. We want a huge showing so the council knows how their community feels about this dystopian assault on our privacy.

A ballot mailed on time should not be thrown out because the mail arrived late.

The Supreme Court ruled today in a 5–4 decision, that states may count mail ballots received after Election Day when they were postmarked by the deadline.

What this means for Californians is that ballots postmarked by Election Day can still be counted when received within seven days.

This is an important victory to defend our rights and elections. We have to keep showing up for each other as attacks on voting rights and access to the ballot continue.

How the court voted.

Majority: Amy Coney Barrett, John Roberts, Sonia Sotomayor, Elena Kagan and Ketanji Brown Jackson.

Dissent: Samuel Alito, Clarence Thomas, Neil Gorsuch and Brett Kavanaugh. by @resilienceoc
