🇵🇹 LISBON, PORTUGAL – ANOTHER VOICE OF SOLIDARITY RISING FROM THE STREETS! ✊🏽🔥

Photography @kashvelo

From Martim Moniz to the rest of the world, people are coming together to show that humanity cannot remain silent in the face of oppression and injustice.

Every flag, every voice and every person standing up represents something bigger than themselves. This is about Palestine, but also about every oppressed community fighting for dignity, freedom and a future without exploitation.

Borders cannot divide our humanity. Distance cannot weaken our solidarity. And silence will never bring the change people deserve.

Much respect to everyone in Lisbon who took to the streets, raised their voices and stood for justice.

The struggle for freedom connects us all. We need to support one another, stand together and build a movement that goes beyond borders and nationalities.

DIFFERENT STREETS. DIFFERENT COUNTRIES. ONE HUMANITY. ONE STRUGGLE.

✊🏽 POWER TO THE PEOPLE!

For some, the words "Free Palestine" are highly threatening. Speaking in Dublin on the first night of his "Free Palestine" tour, Macklemore remarked that those who seek to silence calls for Palestinian freedom refuse to confront the fundamental premise that freedom cannot coexist with oppression. He told the audience that any "freedom" which requires the oppression of others is not freedom at all.

Protesters in Albania have hurled fireworks at police during violent anti-government demonstrations in Tirana, where anger over alleged corruption, a political scandal and demands for Prime Minister Edi Rama's resignation has been building for months.

The unrest is part of a wider opposition movement, with a proposed luxury resort linked to Jared Kushner and Ivanka Trump among the issues fuelling public anger, particularly over environmental damage, transparency and the future of protected coastal land.

Police responded with tear gas, water cannon and rubber bullets as demonstrators hurled fireworks, threw rocks and set up barricades using burning rubbish bins.

Forces pursued and attacked Palestinian children in the village of Al-Mughayyir, east of Ramallah, after they left school. Soldiers assaulted one of the children and detained him before releasing him, and also confiscated a Palestinian flag from another child’s bicycle. #viral #freepalestine🇵🇸
