Say hello to our alternative provision team in Didcot, Oxfordshire.

They support children aged 4-11 years old who find mainstream school challenging. Our students are referred to us by schools and the local authority and may already be on reduced timetables, at risk of school exclusion or have special educational needs.

More information about our 7 alternative provision sites go to ➡️ resolve-ap.com

We’ve partnered with a former teacher who’s so passionate about reforming the education system. Who could it be? 👀

Announcement will be made on Sunday at 7pm

All our teams across resolve alternative provisions are now trained in Level 2 Team Teach. We absolutely loved our training with Gary.

We are all about co-regulating with our students, de-escalating and understanding what’s underneath behaviour.

Every teacher needs an escape plan. 👀

If you can see a member of your team is getting overwhelmed or a situation with a student is escalating, don’t wait for it to blow up.

Our strategy? 📞 “You’ve got an emergency phone call in the office.”

No embarrassment. No undermining them in front of the student. Just a discreet way to get them out, give them space to regulate, and allow another adult to step in.

Supporting your staff doesn’t mean expecting them to handle everything alone.

Sometimes the best behaviour management strategy is simply knowing when to swap out.

This is Sarah, our head of provision from our Swindon site. They are now taking referrals to support children from Wiltshire and Swindon.

Our new vocational skills classroom is looking fantastic! At our Hillingdon site we will soon be offering woodwork workshops to our students 🥳

Our provision already offers music production and football skills, whilst being outcome driven and child led.

An incredible alternative provision for 11-16 year olds in and around Hillingdon

Leading our Swindon alternative provision is Director Aaron, who recently became qualified in team teach level 2 on our INSET day.

We currently have spaces open for children who have been excluded from school, are on reduced timetables or don’t attend for a variety of reasons including anxiety and special educational needs.

Our Swindon alternative provision can provide 1:1 and group mentoring, outreach and vocational sessions which include music production.
