Editorial film & voices of athletes in celebration of women’s sports.
Athletes interested in participating ⬇️

POSTS STORIES REELS

Hopes and dreams, folks.

With the launch of the new site, I'm adding new features. Here's a quick overview:

ATHLETE FEATURES: This is still the core of RTG. Interviews and photo essays of real athletes. Inclusive of all ages, stages, and varieties of sport.

PERSPECTIVES: A new content series written by yours truly (and hopefully other future voices). My POV of what interests me, why women's sports, new learnings, observations, and more.

CONTRIBUTORS: I'm excited to share other insightful voices on the culture in and around women's sports. Other photographers, artists, visionaries. Hopefully curated in a way you might not find elsewhere.

COLLABORATIONS: Eventually partnering to create editorial stories that feature real athletes with real brands is the dream. Exclusive content only found here.

If you or someone you know wants to get involved, please reach out. This is an ambitious plan, and I could use all the help I can get. Not to do the work necessarily, but to provide a wide mix of content. I want depth and breadth, not just my own POV.

More details of the relaunch to come soon.

While it looks like things have been quiet over here at RTG, it couldn't further from the truth. I've been heads-down for a few weeks following a major decision in the trajectory of this project. I'm currently in the final stages of migrating my entire website to a new publishing platform that will allow RTG to be what it was meant to be: a full-fledged independent publication dedicated to the culture of women's sports. I've put in a lot of work to get to this relaunch, and I'm excited to share it soon.

Stay tuned in the following days for more details. And don't worry, I have three new Athlete Features to share, too.

Another sister act to share! When @audreyysimone suggested a family friend from Austin, TX to feature on RTG, and that they had daughters who row, I jumped at the chance. Rowing is one of those sports I associate with an elevated culture like fencing, ballet, polo, and the like. You know, sports I know jack squat about, but fascinated by.

Adelyne is getting major college recruitment inquiries as she soon will enter the next chapter in her sport. While Wren has made an intriguing transition from lacrosse to rowing.

Please give them a read at the website in the bio.

Respect Their Game is an independent photography and editorial project documenting women athletes through portraiture and long-form interviews — and I’m looking for someone in the Dallas–Fort Worth area who wants to help make it happen.

The Associate Producer works alongside me on athlete shoots and interviews, helping with production, equipment, behind-the-scenes support, notes and logistics — but just as importantly, serving as another voice and point of connection for the women we photograph, and helping create a comfortable, professional and collaborative environment around every shoot.

You would have an opportunity to help discover and recruit athletes, contribute ideas, and become part of the continued development of RTG as the project grows.

• Based in the Dallas–Fort Worth area
• Passionate about photography, film, journalism, editorial, sports media or visual storytelling
• Genuinely passionate about women’s sports, representation and athlete storytelling
• Comfortable meeting and communicating with new people
• Reliable, curious, collaborative and willing to jump in where needed
• Looking for hands-on creative experience — whether you’re building a career, changing direction, or simply looking to get involved

You don’t need to be an experienced photographer or producer. I’m much more interested in finding the right person — someone engaged, dependable, creative and excited about what RTG is building.

More than anything, I’m looking for someone who connects with what RTG stands for and wants to help build it.

This is an independent volunteer position and is currently unpaid. In return, you’ll gain genuine hands-on experience working directly on athlete portrait sessions, interviews, outreach and editorial production, along with an Associate Producer credit for your résumé or portfolio.

DM me with a short introduction, what you’re currently doing or pursuing, and why RTG interests you.

Know someone who would be perfect for this? Please send this their way.
