Making this had me all emotional and junk so it deserves its own post..plus I had to dive into old YouTube archives to find some of the really old footage. 😅I think often about how my life would probably be SO different had I never joined derby.. I wouldn’t have met all of the amazing people that I have all across the world or done so many cool things. I probably wouldn’t have met a lot of the close people in my life or even my wife. I probably wouldn’t be as confident, outspoken, unafraid to be myself & take no shit as I am now. I literally would not be the person I am today had I not joined roller derby. & I know that’s “cliche” to say, but that’s because it’s the damn truth.#rollerderby #silversprings #bigeasyrollerderby by @rest.n.peaces

It’s beeeen EIGHTY FOUR YEARS… Well. Actually only 49 days since I’ve been able to really access IG.. but who’s counting?!Anyways. I’m back, idk for how long but hoping this one doesn’t get flagged since I’ve accessed it on my phone.. ya know, Big META Brother may strike down at any moment. But hopefully I eventually just get my original page back.Until then I’ll be using this to keep up with what @chanceinhell_snoballs has, maybe I’ll eventually continue my monthly dumps again... maybe not….keep up with friends and getting back into my randomly named friend group chats that I’ve deeply missed.Side note, I can’t really add people back right away bc IG limits me. Almost 20 years ago, I convinced my mom we needed the runt of a litter at the pet store because no one wanted him. I, of course, named him Wilbur & snuck him into my room by putting him in my purse until we could figure out how to tell my dad…who btw was adamant about not getting a pet, then spoiled the shit out of him more than any of us. 😂He would have turned 20 on June 1st. Which is insane to me, especially being a runt…thats like 90ish years in dog years. I know I have (or had 😔) way more pictures than this, but these are the ones I had on my phone still. Today, it was time for him to make his way over the rainbow bridge, but not before going ham on a Wendy’s frosty first. 🥲🌈🐾So thankful for my wife who was able to help him cross peacefully in his bed at my parents house. 🫶 by @rest.n.peaces

@yallstarstournament 2026 💜💛🩵🧡This year, I had the incredible honor of jumping onto the roster with @puertorico.rollerderby to help them out on the track in the Open division. Team PR is full of some of the sweetest, most fun people and I’m so glad to have met & skated with each of them. Fun fact: I skated under a new number (113) to honor the date that @kinelee187 and I had our ceremony in Puerto Rico. 🇵🇷This was my first time playing in the Open division for an actual tournament, it was different but a lot of fun! Of course, to my surprise, the yearly tradition of at least ONE jam at the jammer line with the ⭐️ carries on! 😅Also, a HUGE shout out to @mina_fortuna for all of her hard work on keeping Y’Allstars alive & another successful year! Excited to see what big plans there may be in store for year FIVE!#yallstars2026 #teampuertoricorollerderby by @rest.n.peaces
