Ah-young Yoon continues her French journey at O Y, where her cuisine blends French refinement with Korean tradition, drawing on classics like creamy sauces and rich meat jus.

From the pot come dishes that pay homage to French classics while staying true to the chefs’ Korean roots, guided by Oh Se-hoon’s creative vision and the refined touch of Ah-young Yoon, trained at « Le Cordon Bleu ».

Perfect balance of flavors and surprising pairings. One amuse-bouche stays in my mind : the foie gras bite topped with a tiny Korean kiwi.

The cheese and eggplant tart instantly evokes the comforting flavors of France, while adding a Korean touch with a hint of spicy mayo.

The chefs deliver a sincere, comforting cuisine centered on seasonal ingredients: a perfectly cooked kajami with enoki mushrooms, and the restaurant’s signature « Faux-Filets de Corée », whose tenderness recalls the texture of wagyu.
To end on a sweet note, the duo presents a dessert of great finesse : fresh figs, vanilla cream, and wine-poached pear.

And as if that weren’t enough, the chef revisits one of her own madeleines de Proust from her French journey : a buttery financier.

Run by chef duo Oh Se-hoon, a veteran of French kitchens, and Le Cordon Bleu-trained Yoon Ah-young, the restaurant offers elegantly restrained French cuisine. The chef exhibited exceptional friendliness and frequently checked in with us to ensure our satisfaction.

The staff demonstrated a high level of dedication, meticulously explaining each dish in English detail. The food portions were just right and incredibly delicious.
