But wow wow wow. I just love the @utahnailexpo so much.
First off, @luxapolish , bb grl… I love you so so much. This is my 6th YEAR working the expo with Luxa, and that is just so crazy to think about.
Without getting into it, I literally wouldn’t be doing nails if it wasn’t for them, and I forever feel indebted to them because of that, but like, in the best of ways.
The team we have for the expo just gets better and closer every year and it’s literally my favorite weekend of the year. It’s a lot of work, but we have a good system (of a) down, and a group of bad bitches to do it with. So the hard parts barely phase you when you’re having fun. So thankful for the Luxa Gang. 🖤🖕🏻💅🏻

I always work the Luxa booth, but this time I was also pulling a double duty by running the nail competition for the expo by myself.
And man oh man was that a lot of work. It consumed my life for a good chunk of time this year.
It was a huge learning experience, but in the best of ways. A lot of things went wrong, but a lot of things went right.
So now, all the hard work, time, research, and endless sleepless nights the past few months, are going to make next year so much easier and so much better, now that I feel like I have it pretty figured out!
I was running back and forth all day, so I ended up not having a single free second to walk around and say hi to friends or check out other booths. 😭
But other than that, it was an incredible experience, and I’m so excited for next year’s!

What a cool career I picked. And what an honor it is to be recognized for it.
Still in disbelief that Luxa asked me to be an affiliate.
Still in disbelief that the Utah Nail Expo wanted little ol me to run a nail competition.
Still in disbelief that over 30K people online thought I was cool enough to follow.
And I’ll never get used to the fact that people get so stoked to meet me and want a pic with me etc. WILD.

I love what I do. And I love who I do it with. And I love who I do it for.
Pick a job you like. It’s so worth it. What a good time. by @restingnailface
