By the Caniçada reservoir, we visited a modern holiday home designed by @ateliercarvalhoaraujo in a serene, Portuguese forest setting. Built in exposed, reinforced concrete, the Caniçada House is a renovation aiming at reconnecting the existing house with the hillside and the lake. We filmed a house tour about the project where @christiantrampe especially fell in love with the materiality of the project and the sounds of nature. Transformation! Dope or nope? 🤔
In the southern Brazilian town of Chapecó, a modern 30 m2 studio apartment has been designed to effectively leverage every inch of the compact space. While the space is quite masculine with its dark tones, the wood and the burnt cement on the walls give texture and warmth. The studio apartment is designed by @amandaakimoto.arq.

The Aimasia Residence designed by @a31.architecture is an exceptional piece of architecture. Nestled just above Elia Beach in Mykonos on a 14,000 m² plot, Aimasia is more than a luxury villa — it’s an architectural dialogue with the island’s heritage and terrain. In Greek, ‘Aimasia’ refers to the ancient dry‑stone walls that crisscross the Cycladic landscape — the very walls built by generations of farmers to cultivate, protect, and shape the land. In this house, that tradition becomes the spine of the design, creating a house out of the ordinary. We had the privilege to tour the villa; a tour you can watch on our Restless Living YouTube channel right now. Link in bio.

We were invited by @castlungerhomes to explore their project named Chalet Feroze in the Italian Dolomites. Placed right next to the skiing piste, Chalet Feroze adopts a contemporary approach to the traditional Ladin architecture; merging the regional vernacular and contemporary design principles to promote intimacy of spaces as well as openness and convenience. You can follow along in the footsteps of @christiantrampe as he experiences Chalet Feroze in the full house tour episode on our YouTube channel. Link in bio!

We were invited by @celoria_architects to tour their project named House C in Mendrisio, Switzerland. The home rises from the foundations of an older building, inheriting both its footprint and the aura of its surroundings, yet it is transformed into something profoundly modern and monolithic – with curves and arches to emulate a meditative atmosphere. When touring House C, @christiantrampe was especially pleased with the integrated bath. Full house tour on the Restless Living YouTube channel. Link in bio!

In the forests of Danish Tisvilde, we recently visited the home named Villa Tipi designed by We Architecture. The project aims to fuse Nordic and Japanese design principles while presenting a merge between an A-Frame and a longhouse taking advantage of the privileged views of the wetland. We filmed a house tour and @christiantrampe especially enjoyed the meticulous craftsmanship put into the project. Link in bio! taken in Tisvilde by @restless.arch

In the small Portuguese town of Anadia, the RCR House designed by Visioarq stands out as an architectural masterpiece of glass innovation. Since the owner is a bespoke minimalist windows manufacturer, the residence has become his way to showcase the possibilities of glass as a material. We visited the RCR House and produced a house tour where @christiantrampe is excited to tell you the story about the project. Link in bio! taken in Anadia, Portugal by @restless.arch

With the motto “city as a living room”, the Regula Penthouse was designed to effectively blur the boundaries between apartment and city. Despite a strong focus on technological solutions, all technologies have been intentionally hidden to avoid disturbing the design and instead directing the attention to architectural features such as the sculptural, suspended steel staircase inserted into an elliptical cut-out. It was designed by @brainwork_architects in Prague, Czech Republic // Photos by @boysplaynice. taken in Prague, Czech Republic by @restless.arch
