Fish were locked in the other night. Zero cares that their buddy had gotten a lip piercing.

This is the advantage for fly fishing at night. Using the stealth of a lightweight fly over a chunky live bait or plug. Fish are less likely to feel the fishing pressure allowing you multiple shots at your target.

If you haven’t experienced it yet, sight fishing for Snook at night on fly is a next level experience. Yes you can see them, and they are eating. But the casting dynamics is different when you can’t see your loops. You have to “feel” your cast. Then you have fish actively eating, creating adrenaline stress to rush a cast.
