Today I said goodbye to the GT. Lots of mixed emotions. This was my bike during Covid and got me back into cycling. It served its purpose for me well at the time. It’s such a cool bike and in amazing condition for being as old as I am. But ultimately it would never be the bike I wanted it to be so it is on its way to a new loving owner. I’m happy to have been a part of its life and to be able to build it up a few unique ways. This bike is cool no matter what parts I put on it. But cool factor isn’t the only reason to have a bike. So long to the ‘94 GT Polomar and thanks for the memories and places it’s taken me. by @resto.mob

Since the GT hasn’t sold and the parts were in the bin, (well most of the parts, the Advent X derailleur I had to rob from my commuter 🤭) I had to try out a gravel setup. I’m quite happy with it and it was a super fun ride! The 2.2” Continental Race King tires were the right choice. Unfortunately, the reason I’m selling it, it’s just too big for me.
