🎉🎉Some updated photos of my beautiful new office!😇😍⠀
⠀
Just an update, I recently moved to a new office the other month! ⠀
⠀
The new office has more than 2x the space, plenty of natural light ☀️ and a waiting room, this is certainly an exciting new chapter!⠀
⠀
The new location is about ~7 minutes from my old office.
The new address is:⠀
⠀
481 Carlisle Drive, Herndon, VA 20170⠀
⠀
Hope to see you soon!😊⠀

First and foremost I'd love to express my gratitude for my amazing patients for leaving such wonderful reviews😎.⠀
⠀
For those who have not been to my practice, let me explain what to expect.⠀
⠀
When you are in my office I strive to be 100% present in that moment. My patients deserve my full attention and presence.⠀
⠀
I try my best to be high energy, uplifting and positive. It is important that you leave not only feeling physically improved (sometimes this can take a day or so) but also emotionally uplifted. I truly believe in using happiness, laughter and optimism to uplift others and I try to convey that in each visit.⠀
⠀
Expect a comprehensive exam going over your past medical history and current complaint as well as a discussion about your goals with treatment and any other health related goals I can help you with📈.⠀
⠀
My treatment style is focused on spine and extremity (ankle, wrist, shoulder, knee) adjustments, biomechanical analysis, posture training and soft tissue treatments to identify the root cause of your issues with the goal of getting long term relief/resolution and to build resiliency. In practice I have found the combination of these types of treatment have gotten phenomenal outcomes (just read some of the reviews!🤪).⠀
⠀
I have two types of follow up appointments.⠀
⠀
A 10 minute appointment (an adjustment). This is suited for those who do not have much of a soft tissue complaint or who have gotten their initial complaint resolved and would like to continue to see the benefits of adjustments. Also great for those who have busier schedules.⠀
⠀
A 30 minute appointment (an adjustment and soft tissue work). This is suited for those with a fairly actice acute/chronic complaint and used to make progress very quickly and get you to 100%.⠀
⠀
I have a background in exercise physiology, strength and conditioning and that is reflected in my treatment approach. I try to practice what I preach in every sense of chiropractic, nutrition, training and wellness.⠀
⠀
If you have any questions send me a message to get started. There's a link in the bio to schedule online, or you may call my office at 703-723-9355! taken in Reston, Virginia by @restonchiro

A few weeks ago my friend presented with neck pain as well as upper back pain after overhead pressing at the gym. He also complained of decreased neck range of motion along with pain upon bending and rotation.🏋️‍♂️⠀
⠀
We did some range of motion testing and then an adjustment to see the immediate impacts of a neck adjustment to neck range of motion and overall pain levels. Afterwards we also cleared the upper thoracic spine to influence the cervicothoracic junction as well.⠀
⠀
He followed up the next day for another adjustment and felt about 90% better after the two treatments. He was able to overhead press pain free later that same week. 📈⠀
⠀
Adjustments to the neck can cause an immediate decrease in pain. One proposed theory is due to the post-adjustment increase in neuropeptides oxytocin and neurotensin which help modulate pain. Reducing pain is valuable, as much of the healing process occurs during sleep. Pain that restricts normal activities of daily living such as sleeping can dramatically reduce quality of life and slow down the healing process.⠀
⠀
Another study shows that adjustments to the thoracic spine (the upper back) in combination with neck adjustments can reduce pain while also showing significant improvements on the neck disability index (function).📖⠀
⠀
Some studies have shown that individuals with neck pain also have decreased mobility at the cervicothoracic junction (C7 and T1). This is also known as hypomobility. I have found this to be true in practice as well. Clearing the C/T junction in addition to the neck will greatly (and quickly) improve range of motion and function.⠀
⠀
Afterwards we went over proper chin and scapular retraction to better perform overhead presses without causing a neck injury.⠀
⠀
My goal is to help my patients reach their goals, whatever they may be! My office has flexible 10 minute (adjustment) or 30 minute (adjustment + soft tissue) style treatments to fit your schedule. ✅⠀
⠀
I’m in network with Anthem, Aetna, Carefirst and we have affordable non-insurance rates.✅⠀
⠀

Five months late to posting but here is my best push from USA Bobsled’s National Push Championships this past September! What an incredible opportunity for the chance to compete here against accomplished athletes including past and future Olympians! Not bad for someone who never played a varsity sport! Although I did not do well enough to be selected to Team USA in September, I want to thank everyone in my life who has supported me and encouraged me. I have always set lofty goals for myself. Many times, just speaking of them to people will endure eye-rolls. I’m grateful for my amazing support system that always encourages me regardless of my endeavors! I started lifting weights at 14 years old to combat being picked on, never would I have thought that it would eventually lead me to an opportunity like what I got to experience this past Summer. With the Olympics culminating this past Sunday, I want to wish a congratulation to all the athletes who got to represent Team USA and competed! by @restonchiro

Had an incredible experience to be able to stay at the Olympic Training Center in Lake Placid for USA Bobsled's rookie camp.

Decided to participate in a recruiting combine in May and did well. I believe over 250+ athletes tried out across America and about two dozen of us made it to the camp. I did well and pushed the third fastest time amongst a very talented rookie camp filled with exceptional athletes. I've identified some key factors to build and improve on as well.

I want to thank God for this opportunity. I want to thank my fellow rookies for the help and comraderie. I want to thank all the coaches for their kindness, time and encouragement. I'd like to further extend gratitude to my awesome support system; my patients, friends, family and fiance. taken in Olympic Training Center by @restonchiro

Rolled up some metal today (aluminum😅)!

Working on an art project to make a wind chime from several rolled up frying pans.

Don't worry, planning on recycling the scrap metal if it doesn't turn out as good as I hope! by @restonchiro

Hit an output of 4,769W of peak power at 525 lbs resistance on the Keiser Pneumatic Squat. Anyways, 4,769W/745.7W = 6.395 horsepower! Goal is eventually 5,000+ watts of course (and more horsepower)! taken in Olympic Training Center by @restonchiro
