I still can’t believe this is my job! 🌾

1. Edit (do not skip this step! You cannot organize clutter) ✌🏼

2. Categorize — likes with likes ✨ (best feeling)

3. Contain — bin it and label it 👊🏻

Optional 4th step — Elevate (this brings in interior design to make your functional system visually appealing). This matters to some people, and to others it doesn’t! 😘

This client was preparing for a move but didn’t need everything packed immediately. We paired down, so that the transition would be MUCH easier when the time comes. 💫

I follow these steps every time I enter a space.

Every.single.time.

Today’s tidy tip is brought to you by one of the top professional organizers in North Carolina 📍 Catherine Rackley with @restorationorganizing

Every time an Amazon box shows up at your door 📦 fill it with things that need to leave your house and send it straight to donation. One thing in, five things out!

Thank you Catherine 💛

Restoration can take so much of the stress out of the process for you! We love to help set up your new space, making it both functional and beautiful! 🪴

We’ll break down the boxes for you, take them to recycle, and force you to go prop your feet up with a hot latte while we make your new space feel peaceful and calm. 😌

You shouldn’t try and carry the weight of a move on your shoulders alone. Let us support you. 📦

Restoration will handle it for you, babe! ❤️Don’t stress anymore. 🫶🏼

A little less chaos, a little more ta-da! ✨

Our kids want to play with us; they want our time, not our wallets. Let’s have fun at home again! 🤩

Less S T U F F can help our nervous systems calm down so that we actually can lighten up! 🤸🏼‍♂️

Time is one of your greatest assets ⏰

Give your heart and brain some white space 🤍

You will reap the blessing. 🎁

It’s not about getting rid of everything. I promise.

Sometimes a couple of donation bags can bring a surprising amount of breathing room. 🪴

You are the CEO of your space, and if something that once brought value to your home no longer does, release it. You’ll have more clarity, I promise. 💫

You don’t need my permission, but I AM popping in to remind you of the permission you already have to let go. No guilt, just freedom. 🤍

Organization is N O T about perfection. For real. It’s about your peace 🤍🌾

Perfection doesn’t exist and it surely is not functional. ✌🏼

Organized homes are ultimately about your TIME and your MENTAL LOAD being LIGHTENED. 💫
