Came up short but all glory to God for allowing me to do the sport I love, for allowing me and my opponent to be safe. For the last four years, I’ve had the privilege of working in the University Place area, getting to be in the lives of high school students and watching them grow in their faith while also growing in mine. I’ve made the sweetest relationships with youth and it’s been a beautiful thing to be apart of.

Over the last year or so, I’ve really felt God putting it on my heart to reach more kids in Tacoma. I wholeheartedly believe in the way Young Life reaches students.. going where they are, building genuine relationships, and walking alongside them as they navigate high school, life, and faith. I want nothing more than for that kind of community and mentorship to be accessible to every kid in Tacoma.

So, I’m SO excited to share that we’re launching Young Life in Central Tacoma!

We’re starting ministry at Mt. Tahoma High School and are hoping to launch at the neighboring high schools this year as well!

I’m incredibly excited, but I also know that a ministry like this can’t be built or run on its own. It takes a community of people who believe in these kids and are willing to show up for them.

So if you’re passionate about serving kids in Tacoma, have connections at Mt. Tahoma, Foss, or Lincoln, or simply want to hear more about what we’re doing, I would LOVE to connect with you. Let’s grab coffee, chat, or I’d be happy to share more about the vision!

Saturday night was all about boxing at EQC. 🥊
