Just finished an incredible high-end retouch and wanted to share my process with you all! This post includes some videos showing part of the retouching process. You’ll also see the before-after comparison at the end.

I take pride in my work and always focus on the details. I never use generative fill for skin texture, as preserving high-quality skin texture is essential. I don’t use quick plugins that promise fast results, as they often rely on frequency separation. While frequency separation can be useful for retouching fabrics or quick jobs where speed is more important than quality, it’s not my method. I believe in doing things the right way.

My workflow includes careful manual texture cleanup, dodge & burn, and color corrections (both local and global) as well as color grading when needed. Quality and proper retouching come first for me. I’d rather decline a job than compromise on my standards.

If you’re looking for retouching that emphasizes detail and quality, place an order via DM and check out my high-quality work at retouchbyvi.art

Let me know what you think!
