My heart has been heavy all day over the passing of one my favorite Costume Designers Mr. #bobmackie Who I had the delightful pleasure of meeting last year at the beautiful wedding of his PR rep @jenellehamilton I told Mr. Mackie how much his costume design sketches inspired me and how I still watch reruns of the Carol Burnett show to this day fascinated by his beautiful costume design amongst the humor. And then there was his work on The Charlies Angels - the style that shaped my love for vintage and fashion. It’s only right you made your transition during NYFW because we can’t talk about fashion without mentioning you 🙏🏾 I’m honored to have met you and give you your flowers in person. Thank you for creating the visual identity of the golden age of television and the glamorous designs for so many icons marked in the history of fashion. May you rest in Paradise and your vintage designs live on forever ♥️ #bobmackiecostumes #costumedesigner #fashionicon #designinspiration

We finally experienced @brimfield.antique.flea.market and @thesturbridgeshow 🙌🏾 A lovely 2.5 hour journey through 3 states and we arrived in Sturbridge MA. Paloma Picasso: Began her career in Paris in 1968 as a costume designer. She would shop the local flea markets to source for her jewelry designs. Yves Saint Laurent was impressed by her bold accessories designs and he commissioned her work for his accessories line. She also designed for Tiffany and launched her signature fragrance and cosmetics line w L’Oréal famous for her red lipstick in the 80s ♥️
