We give January 1st way too much power 😂

We tell ourselves we’ll start when the new year comes, when things slow down, when we feel more motivated, when we’re finally “ready.”

Lately I’ve been trying to be a lot more intentional with the time I have left in 2026. Not because I need to completely reinvent my life before January, but because there are things I’ve been wanting to explore that I don’t want to keep putting off.

I’ve been sharing more on here, thinking more seriously about the kind of stories I want to tell, and I’m even in the VERY early brainstorming stages of what could maybe become a podcast one day. And when I say early, I mean nowhere near launching anything 😂

But even getting myself to the point where I’m brainstorming ideas, writing things down, and actually exploring what I want to create feels like progress.

And I’m proud of that. Even the little progress.

Apparently “I just got back from Thailand” wasn’t enough to get me out of teaching a face-to-face class at 8 AM. 😭

Can’t lie tho… somewhere between the jet lag, the copier fighting for its life, and students already asking about late work, I remembered I do enjoy my little face-to-face teaching fix every now and then. 😂

Day 1 down. An entire semester to go.

How long do y’all think I make it before I book another flight somewhere? 🤪

The beginning of this year looked a lot different than I expected it to. A few months later, I went to Thailand thinking I just needed an escape, but it ended up giving me everything I didn’t know I needed. To everyone I met along the way—thank you for bringing me back to life 🫶🏼

For years, people have been telling me I should start creating and sharing more of my life, and I’ve always found some reason not to. So I guess I’m finally listening 😂 No idea exactly what this turns into, but I’m excited to create, share more of my life, and see where this next chapter goes 😎
