Vintage PAIR of 80s Replica Iconic White and Chrome Wassily Chair. These are in nice condition. No rips or tears in the leather. The chrome is in great condition as well.
The original Wassily chair, also know as the Model B3 chair was designed in 1925 by Marcel Breuer while he was teaching at the Bauhaus school in Germany. It is famous for being the first-ever club chair made from bent tubular steel, inspired by the lightweight and strong frame of a bicycle. This chair quickly became very popular amongst Mid Century Modern collectors. New Wassily chairs are still being sold on Knoll’s website for around 4 grand.
