Today is World Mental Health Day. And across the world, in thousands of shops you’ll never hear about, something quietly important happens every single day.

Someone sits down. The cape goes on. And somewhere between the first snip and the last, the guard comes down. People tell their barber things they haven’t told anyone else all week.
