Steering rack bushings are now available on the website. Previously, we were supplying this only to rack rebuilders, but now they're available for you to purchase and install yourself!

Fits all generations of the Dodge Viper. Tested in harsh conditions at the track, just like all of our parts.

Benefits:
-Improved steering feel, responsiveness, & precision with minimal NVH (noise/vibration/harshness) increase.
-Improved durability: No dry rotting or melting like the OEM rubber bushings
-Hard anodized coating to avoid corrosion: Uncoated/bare aluminum bushings can begin galvanic corrosion with the steel rack hole on the passenger side.
-Steering rack bushings in good condition are essential part of eliminating the wandering/tires following dips in the road that is common with these cars.

It is possible to install these without rack removal -- let us know if you have the skill & flexibility to pull it off! 👨‍🔧

Coolant bleed valves are now available for Gen 2 Vipers. This makes bleeding air from the cooling system simple and easy. The valve is offered at the attractive price of $20, but professional installation is needed (please see notes below -- moderate amounts of diassembly and care are required).

The valve comes with detailed photo instructions, tool and torque specification list, and tips on how to avoid stripping out your OEM coolant plug.

This kit has been tested on my personal car extensively before offering it to others, to ensure confidence in its leak-free operation.

From the factory, there is an OEM plug that is easy to strip, and expert viper techs advise not to remove it. But it is the best location to bleed air out of the system, which is why Dodge put it there. This Rev.Zero bleeder valve replaces the plug with a bleeder similar to what is used on a brake caliper, so you can open and close it without fear of stripping.

~~Warning!~~ For installation, removal of the thermostat housing is required, which requires removal of the intake manifold. And you will have to remove the notorious strip-able OEM plug once to install this valve (but if you have to drill out the plug, it's OK since you will replace it.

So it is best to install this when you're doing a thermostat change, coolant (antifreeze) flush, radiator hose change, or radiator change where you will want to have the tstat housing out anyway.

What do I do with the 17 year old opened half quart of MT-90?

I am sure it's from my first ever car I owned, a 1989 MKIII #toyotasupra (#isthatasupra). So it's either from ~2007 or ~2011 based on my maintenance records. I've moved this thing around all these years and it somehow hasn't burst and spilled.

Do I put it in the #scionfrs? Is there some useful shelf life data to be gained for @redlineoil? Does it taste the same as the fresh new MT-90? by @rev.zero

HP MJF (Multi-Jet Fusion) #3dprinted #functionalprototype.

The threads are printed, and fit/function! And this material should withstand the heat of being mounted on the engine block.

This is a baffled crankcase vent for the #dodgeviper hoping to improve on the oil lost through the completely open/unbaffled stock vent.

Under hard braking, oil can escape through the CCV and is routed back into the intake in the OEM ventilation setup. My car would do smokescreens at the track in certain corners!

Dodge Viper Crankshaft pin kits are up on the site for purchase. They've been unavailable for a while now, and are essential and cheap insurance to potentially damaging your crankshaft.

This kit comes with everything you need to drill holes and drive in roll pins to keep your crankshaft damper aligned on the crankshaft snout. Fits Gen 1, 2, and 3 (92-06) models. Installation with the engine in the car is possible (photo is for illustration).

From the factory, the damper is simply held in by a press fit to the crankshaft + the torque of the retaining bolt, and is known to fail in the right conditions. Especially with higher power levels, supercharged, or turbocharged applications!
