REVAMP 2025

Over the weekend, I joined other notable and reputable creatives doing AWEmazing stuff in the Nigeria space (art, media, design, tech, film, entertainment, comedy) at the Revamp @revampbyae Conference 2025, titled "Revitalizing Designers and Creatives".

It was more than just a speaking engagement but a learning experience for me, where I got to listen to other speakers (@asiricomedy, @akinalabifilms1, @kunleafod, @seunbharbs, @azwealth, mr_wallywall) who shared their thoughts on the theme of the conference, answering questions with precision and insights.

The turnout was also massive (in my own opinion). Having over 70 participants eager for knowledge, devoting time to learn, rather than spend their precious time on TikTok or at an ówàḿbẹ̀, over a two-hour period.

From the feedback that has been coming in from participants at the conference, I can say "mission accomplished".

I look forward to seeing a revitalized creative and design ecosystem, taking the world by storm and gaining global recognition and relevance in their various endeavours, just as the likes of Nigeria's Joboson Chisa @jobosonchisa, Seyi Olusanya @ogbeniseyi, Seun Badejo @xeunbadejo and Zimbabwe's Fungi Dube @fungidubegraphics to mention a few, whom I used as case studies during my session are blazing the trail in the African typography space with their works now available on Google Fonts.

My Top Personal Lessons from REVAMP 2025

Beyond serving as the official note-taker, I also came as a student—heart open to learn, grow, and be stretched.

And REVAMP 2025 delivered.

Each speaker brought something distinct—insight that cut deep, challenged my paradigms, and reignited my creative fire.

I took time to sit with every lesson, to reflect deeply… and these are the ones that stayed with me—the ones I’ll keep building on as I grow.

This post isn’t just a reflection; it’s a reminder that we grow best when we listen with intention.

Whether you attended or not, I hope these lessons meet you where you are and stir something within.

Huge thanks to @ara_effect for creating such a fertile space for creatives to thrive. I’m genuinely looking forward to REVAMP 2026 already!

REVAMP 2025: A Creative Experience Like No Other!

After posting my GWR conference notes, I got a message from the one and only @ara_effect himself— he loved how I documented the sessions and asked if I could do the same for REVAMP.

I joyfully took up the role.

Saturday came and the fire dropped!🔥
As the sessions began, I found myself typing at the speed of light—even the graphic designer said,
“Beatrice, you’re too fast!”
Well, I had no choice… all the speakers came with their A-Game.

From our own incredible Oga in film making @kunleafod, to @asiricomedy to @seunbharbs to @ifeoluwa_sopeju to mr_wallywall to the @akinalabifilms1, and to the amiable growth master @azwealth, —I was sincerely blown away.

The depth of insight, the richness of experience, and the authenticity in every session was mesmerizing.

Special shoutout to our amazing highlights designer @kre8ive.wiz, you’re incredible! And thank you @obilorfortune for the assist.

My own personal reflections? Oh don’t worry—they’re coming very soon.😉

One thing I’ve mastered as a teacher and speaker is the power of intentional note-taking— it’s a skill that reveals rapt attention and deep learning.

And finally to our creative visionary, @ara_effect,
Weldone sir! Thank you for creating the space we didn’t know we needed.

REVAMP 2026—I’m already looking forward to it.
And yes, over 70 creatives showed up virtually!
Mr. Ifeoluwa @ifeoluwa_sopeju himself said he had never seen that number of creatives or designers at a virtual event before!
