I never know what I forgot until I remember, and then but it’s nothing we can’t shim with a beer can. Am I right?

That’s that campsite chanterelle (dried) chowder and we couldn’t get white wine in Utah on a Sunday because religion is only a system for control and I forgot the cream on top of everything. But it was still delicious. #dontkidyourself by @reverend_dick

How’m I doing? Oh. I guess that I’m doing fine.

Couldn’t ride what I wanted because I smoked my brake pads in Sequoia. Had an extra pair in the van NOPE I played myself with an emptying box. Option B ride the singlespeed to grab a beer and see the alpine glow…bitch assed dropper post explosion. I figure the cap is lodged down around the bend, but it’s not coming out.

I am oozing across the inter mountain west like a bad odor. Stunk up this trail real good. Not as good as the old(er) guy ruling it on his gravel bike with slick 40s, but I have a Good Time.

…but we like hot butter on our breakfast toast.

#surlybigfatdummy carried everything except the gin and tonic fixings- they were in the other backpack cooler. We were trying to camp out at the good spot (our 1st choice going on 20 years now) but it was TAKEN. The cowboy camp around the corner had 3 tents on the beach! I have never seen it so occupied.

Which left us with fording the river and camping along the creek. Stashed the bikes in the bushes and got serious about LOUNGING.

Proof of life? Rode over to put my bike in the trunk of a tiny car and so catch a ride to see The Odyssey. I thought it was pretty well done. Little on the nose about the destruction of the bonds between men and the collapse of civility, but definitely worth seeing if you can sit still and not look at your phone for 3 hours. This is a movie review blog now and you got to deal with that. by @reverend_dick
