Wolf Unseen by @lyramishonauthor

Riley is the toughest FMC I've read in a while. Totally on her own and trying to figure out what happened to her sister, while glamoured as a male at a boys only school. It doesnt help when she meets her mates - which definitely leads to some of them questioning their preferences! It's rare to like all the mates in a why choose situation, I'm definitely a fan of 3 and the last one just wasnt really around enough to form too much of an opinion on - but I definitely see him being much heavily featured in the next book! I loved the story and the world building. The politics of shifters is really well done and I am excited to see what happens next! by @reverseharembibliophile

Kiss Of The Black Flame by @helenscheuerer

If I could give this book 6 stars, I would. Saige and Archer had me in a stranglehold. I tried to read this slowly, to take it in and really feel everything. It would not let me. Saige is thirty five, a lifetime of chronic pain and debt, she works hard, she loves her family even harder. I love an older FMC, Saige did not disappoint - with her infectious smile and optimism despite dire circumstances, I have never felt so much in common with a character in a book, specifically the chronic unexplained pain and the optimism and humor. The way that she teases the stoic general, despite his lack of humor was perfection itself and yes the moment she brings up his "indecent" glasses and makes him blush was amazing and peak banter. Archer is a big ball of emotional pain, its like physical pain is something he can compartmentalise, something I also identify with. The world building is intricate and extremely well done, but it doesn't stop the flow of the story and melds in effortlessly - definitely a skill! The end of this book made me scream and almost throw my kindle (it's my precious so of course I would never) while leaving me reeling. I can't wait for more but if you havent read Helen's other books - its a great time to do it, while we wait for more Black Flame goodness! Also The Consortium of Difficult Women? Turncloak by @laurasteven

Turncloak took Silvercloak's amazingly incredible story and took it to new levels. The reveals, the characters, the twists and turns! Oh my! You are not ready for this. Saffron is a wildly chaotic FMC, tortured by her past, her present and constantly thinking as many steps ahead of everyone else as she can. Unfortunately this is a multi tiered chess game and EVERYONE is thinking ahead of the current move. What started as a question to save her parents, has become so much larger than that, her parents, Levan's parents, Levan himself and how much of that idealistic woman will be left by the time she gets there? Levan, the MMC Kingpin, so many moves ahead of some things but oh so many moves behind others. I loved as a reader, being so frustrated with the two of them and their trust issues. Mainly his, if he can't trust in her love and her devotion to him, then what is she fighting for? Then the secondary characters suddenly start sharing the page, Auria, Nissa, Harrow and a certain character that i can't name as the reveal is rather delicious! With an ending that will make you throw the book across the room and the anticipation of what could possibly happen next, this is an amazing story and I adored every second of it. by @reverseharembibliophile

The Goddess’s Thief by @merribright

Firstly, apologies Merri that it took me an extra week to post this review!

Rada, since the moment you made the first appearance in The Lost Lines as Ratter, the extremely adorable and adept thief, you basically stole the show. Having you as the FMC of the last of the series is bittersweet. But seeing who you have become, the huge heart you have under that tough exterior, the fierce protector you are and the woman who brings Gods to their knees, is the best ending of all. With the humor of this series, but definitely the darkest tale yet of these "lost" Omegas, Rada and her mates are absolutely perfect. I have adored every tale, I genuinely love these books and have read all of them multiple times, yet The Goddess’s Thief managed to shock and surprise me and give me the most satisfying ending of all. If you have not yet picked up these books then please do now, they are hilarious, sexy, heartbreaking, heart wrenching, cute adorable and dark all at once! Rada/Ratter grown up is so much perfection it hurts! by @reverseharembibliophile

Fated to the Demon Lord by @jacurtisbooks

This was such a fun, although plenty dark, read. The FMC is smart and resilient and also very good at poisoning. I loved the twists and turns the story took, while the tension between the two main characters got more and more heated! I found this to be a quite unique tale and couldn't put it down. A steamy story with a fantastic plot! by @reverseharembibliophile

Knot Broken by @samhallauthor

I was so excited to return to The Wolfverse and Knot Broken was such a perfect read for me. From mistaken identity, to complicated characters, this book covered the gambit. Nadia the FMC, Tex, Grey and Ethan are the MMC's and together they have enough quirks and issues, that it quickly becomes apparent the only way to get through them is together. I loved the emotional journey for each of them. The steamy moments are focussed on her pleasure and very, very spicy. There are sweet moments, big emotion moments and I really loved the found family. by @reverseharembibliophile

When Eden Falls by @seesophiewrite

Dystopian novels have a special place in my heart and when i saw this book and read the description, I knew i had to read it. Minta is our narrator and main character and she is this mix of fiery rebel, but trying to follow the rules. I love how she just cant stop talking back to Siphon, which leads to demerit credits, which mean she has very little currency and therefore eats protein bars. There are definitely familiar aspects of other dystopian novels in here, but it works so I'm going to just go with it. The twists and turns in this first book were really good and i didnt see most of them coming, of course my thoughts on many of those are definitely spoilers and i can't prove anything until the next book is out. There was great tension, with a slower burn, enemies to lovers kind of vibe. I enjoyed it and devoured it, cant wait to see what happens next! by @reverseharembibliophile

Don't Say Mafia by @crjaneauthor

Jace Thatcher was always my favourite, unhinged, golden Labrador MMC. His crazy antics and ridculous narrative had me snort laughing all through The Wrong Play. Jagger Thatcher has now taken the no 1 spot. Imagine a slightly darker, almost broody, definitely intense, unhinged, oh and of course, my no 1 red flag - mafia man. There is still the same humor, sexiness and darkness, its just a tad darker, a tad more unhinged. A bit more... deadly. I mean, when the first obstacle to true love is her husband, you know its going to get mucky! Eden Thorne is his match in every way. A woman with a sad past, a sadder future if her life keeps dragging her down. But there is so so much promise in her, and I love that Jagger sees that, yes he's obsessed, but its a "lift her up onto an altar and let him give her everything he can so she can be who she wants" kind of obsession. I'm here for it, all of it - bring on the next one! by @reverseharembibliophile

Code Bound by @kendramorenoauthor

I have never read anything like this. I fear I may never recover from the awesomeness. Code Bound is definitely a life changing read, one of those that pivots the way you look at what a book can be. From the wild rainforests that brought to mind movies like Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom, Romancing the Stone, Anaconda, to the frozen tundra and the hilarious Titanic references. (In cas you were wondering, 2 people can fit on the door) From a praying mantis familiar, who seems to have the memories of a russian woman, to a massive eye with wings, with the funniest narrative of all time. Vesper, the FMC has her hands full this entire book, I love how she handles everything with sass, determination and an intelligence that relies big time on her intuition. I cannot wait to read more! by @reverseharembibliophile
