Tides turn. Seasons change. And, the winds will begin to blow in a new direction. This is for certain. It’s important for you to understand that your hardships and moments of discomfort and discontent, shall pass. Instead of dwelling in angst, embrace the moment. Take it all in stride. Why? Because there’s something to be said about the Virtue of Patience! Each and every step forward inches you closer and closer to your intended destination. Every moment of vulnerability, is just that. A moment. Each obstacle or hurdle is simply a stepping stone to guide you in leaving the past where it belongs… Behind you! With Patience, you can obtain the proper purview to set the course and readily expect the delays in the process. Remember. Proper preparation prevents poor performance! With Patience, you gain a specific kind of Trust in God and His timing. With Patience, you gain a specific kind of Strength, Courage, and Determination. And ultimately, when your moment arrives, you know it was all due to your Faith. This is the beauty of Patience! There are two things that are in your absolute control. The reality is, Fatherhood isn’t just role play. It’s actually a Divine Calling from our Heavenly Father who is the Ultimate Source of our strength. Yes, there’s hardship in this path. Yes, there’s struggle. Yes, there’s a sense of lack of confidence. But, so what? It’s called Growth. It’s called Purpose. It’s called being a Man. So, you can bet showing up gets hard. No doubt that it’s tougher to Love Unconditionally than to simply walk away. However, leading in this way, when wrapped in Humility, provides God’s Promise. Within this understanding, you find the way to teach and provide the example of Integrity, Courage, and show what Sacrifice looks like. This is why we can look no further than the greatest model we have is Jesus Christ, the ultimate Servant Leader. In Him we see that real authority comes from surrendering to the fact that we are not perfect and are in need of Salvation. In Him, we find that real Strength is found in Love, Always. So, God bless The Fathers, The Step-Fathers, The Father-Uncles, The Fathers-To Be, The God-Fathers, The Father-Coaches and Father-Mentors! God bless you! Do not buy into the ignorance and hatred of others who cannot relate. Why? Because it’s really YOU that’s raising the next generation of Leaders, and no one else’s perception. When the Tables of Life turn and the mission is redefined, how will you respond? In that split moment when the alls of your life change, do you have the ability to pause time, refocus, retool, and make definite decisions? There’s nothing more important than having a vision for your future, for, what is there to achieve without such vision? What is there to accomplish without understanding what your end goal is? The Glory goes to those who remain Loyal to their Future. Reality is, nothing is impossible with God. All is achievable with the right Intention and Spiritual Alignment with The Creator. Right now, more than ever, you are in prime Authoritative Position to realize and actualize your ambitions with Precision, Accuracy, Aim, Guts, Intelligence, Confidence, Moral Value, and Pride. This is the time to face the alls of your Fears and eliminate your Demons. This is the time to trust and love God with all your might and allow His miraculous Will Power to go before you and clear the path. This is the time to support and uphold God’s Commandments towards your Fellow Man. We achieve with Love. We win with Unity. Understand these things Good People.. It is you who must prove that Obedience always disqualifies Error. It is you out there who are living in Divinity, that must last all that which dwells in those dreadful places. It’s you all, who are Absolute in your ways, and in your tongue, that must conquer all that is certainly indefinite. When you allow the past to keep a grip on your life, trust that it’ll surely stagnate you from realizing the greatness in the present. When you allow the clarity of the present moment to take hold, the beauty and the power of manifesting your future can begin. Understand that no one can do this for you nor take this happenstance away from you. There’s no use in compromising your moral for instant satisfaction. Get in the habit of practicing delayed gratification. There is benefit in experiencing the journey in its fullness. There is zero benefit in arriving to the wrong place. Let the past be the past. Let bygones be bygones. Forgive, but don’t ever forget. Why? Not because of spite or strife. But. It’s important to understand and identify your time of Transition and Transcendence. Bottom line, complacency is not an option. Bottom line, Peek Performance is an all-the-time requirement. Those who support such notions as complacency and contenting behaviors towards your life, should be removed from your life in this current timeline. It’s true… Your Network, is your Networth. Did you move accordingly into 2023 with that in mind? Or, did you allow the ‘crab in a barrel’ mentality to claw you backwards? Your relationships and your relations require an on going evaluation. This is not a matter of not loving one another, but a matter of knowing when it’s your time to Grow. Romans 8:28 tells us, “And we know, that all things work together for good to them who love God, to them who are called to His Purpose”. Today, I am grateful and thankful for those who I chose and to those who chose me in 2023. There’s no “i” in Team, but there is an “i” in win … when the Team works for the Higher Purpose. I am truly appreciative. So much in store of the ReVibe Team this year. So much in store for this Inner Circle. I am back up and we’re back to the grind! Take time to appreciate the little things. Enjoy those moments of clarity and peace of mind for your life’s sake. It’s extremely important when it comes to decision making. Continue to dream big towards your aspirations. What you take in as input to your brain directly effects the energy you put out into the universe. So, take in all the positivity available to you without interjection or strife. Take in all the positivity from your loved ones and use that to propel your pathway for growth towards being exponential. This is your responsibility. Wholeheartedly reject the small-mindedness of gossip and hearsay. Do not be swayed by the empty vessels of those who try to distract you. Do not adhere to the ways of the ignorant. Period. Stay true to your divine right of success and hope for the future. Laugh as much as possible. Meet new people. Share ideas. Pray with one another. The way to great exponential growth is to have a great sense of Faith. Walk with the Full Armor of God. Who else is going to be accountable for these things for yourself, other than yourself? Unfortunately, we’ve been taught the “I am a Product of my Environment” thing all wrong. We’ve been taught this language in a form of optics. I.e.. What we look like. How he dress. How we talk. What professions were supposed to be in. What our education is supposed to be composed of. What ways we’re “allowed” to make money for ourselves. We’ve been indoctrinated to make us think that there’s only a select things to gain from your upbringing and the environment of our upbringings. We’ve been coerced into a mindset of limitations and belittled expectations. We’ve been told there’s only one course way to success. Well…. the reality is that we are exponential talents of God. We have no limitations or bounds to a specified pathway to success. Education isn’t just from a book, but, also from the vast experiences of life and the Freedom and Liberty to experience life on our own divine terms. My environment of choice, was the great game of basketball. This environment taught me so much about Success, Competition, Teamwork, Work Ethic, Decision Making, and Failure… It still does to this very day. In order to change the negative stigma of our less-favorable environments, is in, how we Pay It Forward. It’s found in how we educate the next generation, not to fall into the traps of their ecosystem but to use what’s available as toolkits for all of the abundances of life! It’s in how we build future Leaders to understand that the lessons learned thru sport are much bigger than the game itself. Today, I am pleased to announce that basketball, again, has granted me more blessings than anyone could imagine. I will be returning to the sidelines as Freshman Head Coach at the Great and Legacy-filled, Osborne Park High School. I am grateful for the opportunity and humbled to be back working with the wonderful Youth of PWC again. Never allow a naysayer deter you from your Passion. In times of true fiscal and personal development dynamics, you cannot be concerned with the former versions of yourself. Forget about it. It’s over. Understand that Growth is not for the weak-minded. At the same time, understand that Growth should not be deemed as a selfish act. Growth is about Leadership. Growth is about the true intention of caring for those you love and those you are responsible for leading. Do not allow a naysayer to dictate and influence your decision making or your emotional state. This is called a distraction. Again, Growth is not for the weak-minded. When you view yourself, view yourself as you wish to be at Peak Performance levels. Do the tasks that force you to be the best version of yourself. Surround yourself with the people that force you to be the best version of yourself. Its vital to not be ashamed of your Growth process or your Growth potential. This is very important. Every journey is different, and, it’s not your job to travel anyone else’s path. It’s your job to trust God. It’s your job to take control of your Attitude and your Actions. Understand that you are beautiful and there’s an abundance of life ahead you. Understand that it will not be easy to obtain your desires, however, it is pure and sufficient to obtain your passions. Find value in being loved. Find value in being attracted to. Find value in being a Beacon. Above all, know that your current state of unsatisfaction shall certainly pass. Above all, know that with a clear vision of what you aspire to be, there is everything to achieve. You can make it happen. Believe in yourself. Fear nothing. It’s very important to trust your gut. It’s equally important to pay attention to the signals that God bestows upon you. This is a spiritual thing. This is an internalization thing. Develop the habit of creating the proper attitude for great instincts. There is no bigger truth then that success occurs when an opportunity meets your spiritual preparation. You have to self-groom this. This process doesn’t happen overnight but nor does it have to take a life time. Think critically. Believe deeply. Understand that there’s two things you always control: Attitude and Action. Always. Period. Move forward knowing that you’re loved, even when you feel the most alone. Move forward with Freedom in your soul and Liberty in your heart. Because, at any time, you are ready for the moment. You were created to be ready for the moment. Unfortunately, being Great at anything, let alone, being a Leader in anything, sucks. It’s grueling. It’s painful. It’s gut-wrenching. It’s mundane. It’s boring. There are long days. There are sleepless nights. There are moments where it all seems pointless. Sometimes you fail. Sometimes you lose Hope. Sometimes you lose Faith. You will question yourself. You will question your purpose. You will question if it’s worth it. Thankfully, when going under these interpersonal cycles, you come understand. You learn some of the requirements. You learn from your mistakes. Your learn your true and higher calling. You learn how to motivate yourself. You learn how to motivate others. You learn how to win your hours, your days, your weeks, your months, your years... By going thru these processes, you grow. You grow to appreciate The Leaders and Great People who came before you. You grow into understanding why they took the steps and pathways they did. You grow yourself into the person you’re supposed to become. Being Great at anything and being a Leader to others is the most rewarding feat to Life. Its selfless. It’s fulfilling. It’s purposeful. It’s love. As you go along your journey, know that in order to be Great and a Leader, none of these less desirable moments and depressive emotions can be skipped. They cannot be side-stepped. They cannot be overlooked. The only way up, is through. There’s no fear, only Faith. Trust your Family. Trust your gut. Persevere. Believe in yourself. Pray daily. The quest for Peace of Mind is challenging but it does not have to be a marathon. Instead of focusing on how to make things perfect, work towards making things sustainable. Meaning, the destination you may have dreamed of may not be your reality yet, but, where you’re at within yourself and your trajectory can be a great starting point to crystallize how you want the rest of your life to look and feel. Trim the fat. Focus on what’s in front of you and what you, yourself, can control. It’s important to not be distracted nor dissuaded. It’s about belief. It’s about confidence. It’s about being absolute in your own American resolve. It’s about counting your blessings along the way and not taking anything for granted. Because in reality, that, is your Peace.
