Bespoke desk | Project LOZEN
When colour becomes material

There is something special about working with colour when it is not simply applied, but becomes part of the architecture.

This deep blue finish was developed for the reception desk of @lozen.club , in collaboration with @contemplatestudio — playing with texture, light and depth to create a surface that feels almost sculptural.

A colour chosen for the space. A finish designed to make it its own. 🩵

|PROJECT| Lozen monolithic desk

For @lozen.club , a women only club in Ixelles, we designed a sculptural brutalist reception.

We wanted it to give the space a strong identity and create a feeling from the moment someone walks in.
It also had to bring three functions together in a limited space: a welcome desk, a coffee corner and seatings, with all the technical elements they require.

After developing the drawings, we worked with @_lamenuiserie_ on the precise woodwork. Elodie from @revocstudio helped us in our quest to find the perfect texture and just the right shade of blue.

For each space, we carefully propose decorative finishes according to the desired atmosphere, the architectural intention and the practical use of the surfaces.

From microcement to clay and lime-based finishes, as well as mineral resin textures and bespoke painting techniques, every material brings a different depth, tactility and interaction with light.

We also love being challenged by the ideas and creativity of our architect partners, allowing us to develop custom textures, unique effects and tailor-made colour palettes for each project.

Looking forward to bringing this new transformation to life.

More soon.

Bathroom | PROJECT CHA60

A space designed to slow things down.

Seamless mineral surfaces, soft tones, and controlled textures shape a bathroom where every detail is intentional — from edge transitions to the continuity of each plane.

Nothing is left to chance, yet nothing feels forced.
The material expresses itself quietly, revealing depth through light and subtle variations.

A balance between technical precision and sensory calm — where the surface becomes part of the architecture.

Bathroom | PROJECT CHA60

Seamless mineral surfaces for a contemporary bathroom in Etterbeek, Brussels.

For this project, #microtopping was applied on the floor and inside the shower, ensuring visual continuity, durability, and precise detailing.
The system allows for a joint-free finish, ideal for wet areas, while maintaining a refined, mineral aesthetic.

Beyond its technical performance, microtopping enhances architectural intent:
clean lines, controlled textures, and a material dialogue between light, volume, and surface.

Behind the scene @revocstudio

We always start with the right preparation—it’s the key to a flawless decorative finish. Here she is, Elodie - founder of RevocStudio - in the workshop, applying the base layer before the chosen #Rasico finish. Every step, every stroke, matters.

It’s not just about plaster; it’s about craft, texture, and attention to detail. Whether it’s her or one of our skilled applicators on site, we take pride in every surface we transform.

Project BRU22

The kitchen furniture was fully wrapped in a custom lime-based coating, applied in multiple thin layers.
The result: a mineral texture that blends seamlessly with the woodwork, enhances durability, and creates a refined, timeless atmosphere.
A space designed to be lived in, touched, and appreciated every day.

Project BRU22

A new series of images from this Brussels renovation, where the architecture and the material speak the same language.
The objective of this project was not only to apply a lime-based coating, but to redefine how the kitchen and living room relate to each other — structurally, visually, and atmospherically.

By extending the mineral finish across walls, transitions and built-in furniture, the space gains a continuous architectural rhythm.
The coating becomes more than a surface: it acts as a soft topography, shaping the perception of depth, shadow and proportion.

Lime is a fascinating material in contemporary interiors.
It absorbs light rather than reflecting it, creating gradients that change from morning to evening.
Up close, every gesture of the hand becomes part of the architectural narrative.
From afar, the finish reads as a calm, monolithic envelope that anchors the space.

These new photos reveal details that often go unnoticed: the subtle junctions, the behaviour of the material around edges, and the way the mineral texture interacts with natural light.
This is the kind of work where craftsmanship and architecture merge — slow, precise, intentional.

Swipe through the carousel to explore more textures, perspectives and close-ups.
If you have questions about lime-based finishes, continuous coatings, or material integration in architectural projects, feel free to ask — I always enjoy discussing the technical aspects behind the final result.

Project BRU22

In this Brussels appartment, we applied a lime-based decorative coating on the walls of the kitchen and living room, as well as on the built-in furniture.
The aim was to create a calm and continuous visual harmony, where the natural texture of lime enhances both light and material.
Each surface was applied by hand, revealing the depth and softness that define this type of finish.

Not every day looks like a construction site.

Some days are about emails, sneakers, and pretending to clean the studio.

The sweat-shirt insisted on being photographed — who are we to say no?

Dust included, as always.

One material. Endless possibilities.

#microtopping brings unity between wall and furniture — a continuous texture that belongs to both architecture and design.
Subtle, timeless, and entirely custom.

What you see is the result of care, not chance.

Perfection doesn’t just happen — it’s built, layer after layer.
Each gesture, each decision, each pause matters.

In this kitchen, the wall and its texture were shaped with the same attention we bring to every @revocstudio ´s project : precision, patience, and a deep respect for materials.

Depending on the light, the finish changes — sometimes matte, sometimes luminous. It’s a living surface, designed to age beautifully and reveal its character over time.

At @revocstudio , we believe detail isn’t decoration — it’s identity.
