BE REALISTIC, DEMAND THE IMPOSSIBLE.

Millions of students are preparing to go back to university, finish school, all the while the world is on fire. And you don’t put out a fire by asking the arsonist. We’re sick of politicians. We’re told again and again to sacrifice more. Whilst prices climb and so do their profits. We’re asked to sacrifice our futures by the tech companies, the billionaires, the Epstein class, while they gut our schools and hospitals and pour billions into rearmament.

May 1968 France, students and workers launched the largest ever general strike the country had ever seen. 11 million people brought French capitalism to a halt. On the walls of the Sorbonne, they emblazoned the words: “be realistic, demand the impossible.”

Fast forward to today, a new generation is doing just that. Gen Z have toppled government after government, uniting against corruption, inequality, and bringing down capitalist regimes like a house of cards.

The struggle is international and the fight didn’t end back in ‘68. The struggle to overthrow capitalism is ours to finish. by @revolutionarycommunists

Shakespeare has continuing relevance to revolutionaries and communists. He explores the human condition, how it changes from slave to feudal to capitalist society, and what governs each society’s morality. His plays as we know them are products of generations of social labour, collaboration and adaptation, and cannot be chalked up to one man alone.

The movements that have erupted in France and Spain are Britain’s future too. The ruling class can feel it coming and they are terrified. That is why these state thugs attacked us.

“Let the bourgeoisie rage and fume, but only people who shut their eyes so as not to see, and stuff their ears so as not to hear, can fail to notice that all over the world the birth pangs of the old, capitalist society, which is pregnant with socialism, have begun.“ by @revolutionarycommunists
