I wanted to share some stills from an upcoming project where I delved into creating abstract shapes with the help of Volumes/VDB in Houdini. Let’s see where the journey takes me. #houdini #3d #3dart #art #arttoday #volume taken in Berlin, Germany by @revsolutn

Diving into #TouchDesigner has been something I’ve been eager to do for a while. This is my 4th output, and I’m excited to keep expanding my skills. My background in Houdini made the transition smoother, and with help from @elekktronaut ’s particle displacement tutorial (highly recommend!), I created this piece.

I couldn’t stop there, though—I added one of my favorite VSTs from Cube to drive the animation with music, and topped it off with a VHS scanline layer for that final aesthetic touch.

Particle Flow on Surface 2 ✨ Created using Houdini & #KarmaXPU, this piece blends vellum fluid simulation with particle outputs. I split the particles into two mirrored streams to create distinct visual flows, all driven by an audio file's force and amplitude.

Switching over from Octane to try Karma, and I'm really impressed with the speed and fidelity!
