EKITI @ 30 — CELEBRATING THE PAST, CREATING THE FUTURE.

Thirty years is more than a number. It is a story of where we started, the people who shaped us, the sacrifices that brought us this far, and the dreams that continue to move us forward.

Before us were those who carried the dream of Ekiti in their hearts and built with what they had. They gave us a history worth remembering, a culture worth preserving, and a land we proudly call home.

Today, we stand on the shoulders of that history.

And tomorrow?
Tomorrow belongs to us.

To the young minds with ideas waiting to become realities.
To the hands ready to build.
To the voices ready to tell our stories differently.
To a generation determined not only to inherit Ekiti, but to shape what Ekiti becomes.

Today’s summit was a powerful reminder that the future of Ekiti will be built through innovation, creativity, leadership, and the collective efforts of its people.
So, as Ekiti turns 30, I celebrate not only where we have been, but where we are going.

We honour the past.
We embrace the present.
And together, we create the future.

Happy 30th, Ekiti.
Land of Honour. Land of Stories. Land of Possibilities. ❤️

Passing the Lens Forward

A new generation behind the lens. 📸✨

Yesterday, I had the privilege of joining @credshillstudios Studios’ Summer Camp as a speaker, where young secondary school students are being introduced to the world of photography.

Seeing these young minds learn, ask questions, experiment, and discover what they can create with a camera was truly refreshing.

This is only Day 1, and we’ve got more learning, creativity, and practical sessions ahead over the next few weeks. I’m excited to be taking some of the classes and sharing what I’ve learned along my journey in photography.

Here’s to inspiring the next generation of creatives. 🖤📸

There is always something special about this moment. The excitement in the air, the anticipation of the unknown, the pride on the faces of corp members and loved ones at home anticipating the jepegs, and the commitment expressed as thousands of corps members take the oath of allegiance. It's a reminder of the dreams, aspirations, and possibilities that come with every new beginning.
capturing the emotions, the discipline, the colorful parade, and the historic moments that mark the official start of their NYSC experience. Standing there brought back memories of my own journey and reinforced the beauty of growth: from participating in the story to documenting it for others.
Today, I was honored to tell the story of a new generation of corps members stepping boldly into the next chapter of their lives.

“Today’s assignment pushed me into a familiar space (the nysc orientation camp) documenting their swearing-in.
It’s more than just pictures… it’s people stepping into new responsibilities, new journeys.
Glad I could freeze these moments. 📸✨”
