OFFICIAL SELECTION - H.P. LOVECRAFT FILM FESTIVAL

We are incredibly excited to announce that VALLEY OF THE HORNTAK has been officially selected for the H.P. Lovecraft Film Festival in Portland, Oregon!

For a film rooted in folk horror, psychological terror, ancient rituals, and the fear of forces beyond our understanding, this selection feels especially fitting.

Since 1995, the H.P. Lovecraft Film Festival has built a passionate community around cosmic horror, weird fiction, independent filmmaking, and stories that venture into the darker corners of the imagination. We’re honored that Valley of the Horntak will now become part of that tradition.

Shot entirely in Southern Kentucky, our film follows an estranged father and son who join the search for a missing boy deep in the woods- only to discover a sinister cult and something far older and more terrifying waiting beneath the surface.

This film was made independently by a team of filmmakers, actors, and crew who believed in creating something strange, atmospheric, and uncompromising. Seeing it continue its festival journey and finding an audience at a festival devoted to exactly this kind of storytelling means a great deal to all of us.

Portland… the HORNTAK is coming.
