One year ago today @mtbachelor!
I definitely miss my home mountain a lot, especially days like this skiing with good friends! But it has also been really fun to explore somewhere new! ⛷🚀☺️ #throwback taken in Mt Bachelor by @rexshepard

Well that was fun! This was my first time out to this zone and I enjoyed skiing it with a solid crew! @hh_oen @thatdp
There are not many runs that make my legs burn 2/3s of the way down, but this was one of them. The temps ranged from -15 F to a high of 5 F and I don’t think my muscles ever warmed up. The snow was perfect cold smoke and felt like skiing on a cloud!

IT WAS ALWAYS MORE THAN SKIING ⛷️

Stoked on the upcoming Winter season! I am so grateful to have a “job” coaching junior ski athletes @mbsef.freeride, traveling all over the Pacific Northwest, competing in @ifsafreeriders events.
Last Winter wasn’t exceptional, but looking back in the camera roll and GoPro, I had some awesome days and adventures with some outstanding people in fun places.

I wanted to give a huge shout out to a really cool company that has been supporting my ski habit for several seasons now, @orage89. Orage makes some seriously durable, functional and stylish gear!
I picked up my first Orage jacket in the early 2000s, when my ski heroes were JP Auclair and members of the New Canadian Air Force. I watched Matchstick Productions and Poor Boyz ski movies until the VHS tapes stopped working. I still have that jacket to this day, a blue and white down jacket.
It’s safe to say that @orage89 is back and louder than ever! Go check out their page, direct message me if you have any questions about their gear or want some recommendations!

Excited to announce that @aleiajalea and I got engaged on May 31st at Neptune Beach on the Oregon Coast! 🥰❤️💍
We met for the first time in Shevlin Park, going on a hike with her dog Finley.
I was so excited and nervous after that first meetup as I knew immediately that we had a connection. This led to so many wonderful adventures all over the PNW, living in Alaska for a summer, buying a house, a business, becoming Silkie Chicken farmers and recently adopting a puppy named Shasta!
Aleia is the Love of My Life and I couldn’t imagine a life without her by my side!
❤️❤️❤️

Stoked to get up on the King for a couple of laps yesterday after the IFSA junior comp with @telesam275 and the MBSEF crew!
It was super fun to ride a new line and learn the terrain! The snow was so good that I decided to ride the same line twice, and build up some more confidence. Guided several athletes into shredding a fun line of their own. This place is awesome. Lots to explore and limited time to master. Grateful for living! ❤️

Skiing is so fun! Stoked to get a lot of good training days at the home mountain @mtbachelor and good times with the mbsef crew @kickinghorsemtn , @crystalmountain and @mthoodmeadows. And link up with friends!
It’s usually that last lap of the day after the last competitor has dropped that brings the ultimate stoke. Hiking to something fun to ski, knowing that all the athletes tried their hardest and competed against the best.
Excited for the good times to keep rolling! •

Lots of fun days skiing @mtbachelor this season! Storm cycle after storm cycle, this mountain provided the pow!
This was an exceptional day a couple weeks back.
We are in a Sunny faze now in the PNW, also called Junuary. Feels good to soak up some 🌞 for a bit before the snow 🐉 returns! Ready for more ❄️🌨️

Super fun to link up with my buddy @kgrant21 the last several days @mtbachelor!
We’ve been riding together for over 25 years now and it was great to see him and his wife come out West for a visit!
We were talking on NW lift and whenever we ride together we feel like kids again ripping around the mountain laughing with every turn.
Looking forward to more fun days with friends!
