Thank you for an amazing DoKomi 2026 💜Those past days I’ve had to get my thoughts in order since this year’s DoKomi was an emotional experience for me, which I was not prepared for.I think I never said this online but for some time now I feel ashamed to go to conventions because I think that people judge me for being too comfortable with the few things I’m doing right now. I don’t draw as much as before and when I do, I just draw the same two characters over and over again just to create new merch. I don’t draw for fun anymore, no new fanart pieces, no leaving my comfort zone like before, just nothing. I can’t even explain why. Posting online is also a whole different story. I’m trying to do my best to post more regularly again, but it is still not the same as before. And I was accepting the fact that this is how it is now. Until DoKomi happened.So many wonderful and extremely talented people came to my booth last weekend and told me, how I inspired them to pursue a career as an artist. Among them were people who draw manga professionally now, who work on animations for big anime series, who do (cover) art for popular comic series, who became famous v-tubers and people who built successful art businesses themselves. All those people took the time and came by to tell me that mainly I was the reason they kept drawing. I felt like I don’t deserve any of this but those conversations also made me feel something I have almost forgotten. Being proud of myself and my work. Being proud that I inspired so many people to keep going and reach their goals. That, in turn, really inspired me and I decided that I will change things for real and get back on track!Thank you all so so much 💜 It was the nicest wake up call I could ever wish for! I won’t take this for granted!And of course a big thank you to everyone who came by for shopping and to see my original ink/marker drawings at my small art exhibition 💕 I’m so happy you guys enjoyed seeing them in person for the first time ever!Also thank you @catsie.jpg for helping me out again 💕 It’s always a pleasure to have you at my booth and I hope you’re in for next year 💜Hope to see everyone again next time ✨ by @reyhansartwork

I’ll be tabling at DoKomi this weekend ✨ hall 3, booth 3B59, Artist Alley ✨I have some new merch and I’m especially proud of the t-shirts with my newest Anubis and Bastet designs. I’ll post photos of them in my stories as soon as I can!Also I’m bringing back my manga short stories „FABLE CLASH! DAYS“ and „Candy upROAR“ ✨ I have the feeling that many people don’t even know they exist, so it’s time to change that. Sadly they are in German only for now but I will work on English versions as soon as possible!And my small art exhibition is actually happening ✨ I dedicated part of my booth to show you some of my traditional ink and marker drawings. This is the first time I’m doing something like this and I’m beyond excited! Here is my newest Bastet artwork ✨ I created this piece during my preparations for Dokomi!Some time ago I was browsing through my own artbooks and a wave of nostalgia hit me after seeing some of my earliest works of certain characters. I always loved my drawing of Bastet from 2015 (last picture) and when I saw it again after such a long time, I just had the urge to draw her in that outfit again. So this piece came to be!First I wanted to just redraw the old artwork but then decided to do a different pose and change some of the details. I really like how this turned out and I hope you do, too ☺️While developing the idea for this piece, I also thought about a version with Anubis, which I will also post this week ✨ by @reyhansartwork
