#tbt That’s me in the long light grey dress and tan clogs bk in the 90s during my Hampton University years. Yea, I know I was a lot smaller and it was right before I let muthafuckas yank my lush eyebrows off lol. I was having sooo much fun with my HU besties(including some other amazing women & men who are not in this pic). We went through so many changes together. We were simultaneously exhilarated and scared AF. We had no idea what we were doing or what to expect. We literally grew into adulthood and supported each other through that shit. Too many stories/shenanigans. It was the best of times and even the perceived ‘downs’ were viscerally invigorating, if that makes any sense. We wanted something different to happen. We made it through and I am forever grateful that we shared such a beautiful, profoundly pivotal time of our lives together. taken in Hampton University by @reyoflight
